Hi everyone and welcome to what will hopefuly be a fun and enjoyable racing series!
I love the idea of these racing leagues but due to work commitments, family stuff etc i never get the chance to join them. However, Saturday is always MY day ! I'm sure i'm not the only one in this position therefore i think a Saturday club is the answer for us!
The idea. 8 races over the course of 8 weeks. Each week a new circuit with a set amount of laps. However, it wont be a piffling 10 minute race, it needs to be worthwhile, a true event so the minimum race duration will be 30 minutes (or nearest to by lap calculation). Their will be a qualifying and tune up period of 30 minutes before each race.
The cars. Lets keep it real. Any fool can enter a Le Mans racer tuned to 1000bhp and storm the circuit. So for that reason absolutely no race cars, Mazda Furais, tuning cars or RM models will be permitted. Road cars only but the drivetrain is limited to FR only!
Two theme races will happen during the 8 week period (years, brands etc). Cars are limited to 520 PP and can freely be changed race to race, however, the same car may only be used 3 times throughout the 8 weeks and your chosen car must be submitted to me by 2000 uk time each friday before the next days race.
The tracks. Pre-determined for no particular reason other than for competitors to be able to gain prior track knowledge to enable their best possible car set ups.
The race. Driving aids can be freely used to how the individual sees fit. This will hopefuly make for a level playing field for drivers of all talents and abilities. Penalties will be set to weak to discourage corner cutting and ramming. Mechanical damage will be off as this can often be unfair - such as you being hit by another car and then receiving a 'punishment' for it. Tyre wear will be on as the races will hopefuly involve pitting due to the duration involved but their will be no restrictions on tyre choice. Boost is set to off.
At the moment i'm thinking of a 1330 UK time start. UK drivers would be prefered because of lag problems but it is open to all on a 1st come, 1st served basis. 15 places are up for grabs. All real races offer prizes so let's make this no different! After the 8 weeks races have finished the prizes will work in the following way:
1st place overall = a car worth 1,000,000 credits or less from the new car dealership + 5 paints and 5 tuning parts of your choice.
2nd place overall = a car worth 500,000 credits or less from the new car dealership + 5 paints and 5 tuning parts of your choice.
3rd place overall = a car worth 250,000 credits or less from the new car dealership + 5 paints and 5 tuning parts of your choice.
Most improved driver prize - a car worth 200,000 credit's or less from the new car dealership.
Full 8 weeks commitment = a car worth 150,000 credits or less from the new car dealership.
7 and 5 weeks commitment = a car worth 125,000 credits or less from the new car dealership.
4 weeks commitment = a car worth 100,000 credit's or less from the new car dealership.
Naturaly, i have ruled myself out of any prizes.

2nd place 30 points
3rd place 27points
4th place 24 points
5th place 21 points
6th place 18 points
7th place 15 points
8th place 12 points
9th place 10 points
10th place 8 points
11th place 6 points
12th place 5 points
13th place 4 points

Quiting the race before the race has finished means no points. Any actions on track deemed unfair or not in the spirit of these races will result in your PSN ID being wiped from my account meaning you will no longer be a part of the league.
