Do we have any racers this week? I really hope we get more than 5 especially as it's our double race week. But most importantly, will some one topple the reign of Filip-Ovik and Carbonox from the 1st place spot?!!!

I am sadly dropping out of the series. I was notified today about having to work weekends from now on, so I will be unable to race. I hope I will be able to join in the fun in future series. I had a lot of fun in this one even though I never saw a top 5 position lol It was a great pleasure to race with you guys.
 
Sorry to hear that but thanks for your early commitment to the series which has now earnt you a new Premium Car up to the value of 100,000 credits. Please let me know what you would like and i'll get it to you ASAP :)
 
Hi guys, just a quick and polite reminder about penalties during todays 1st race at Monza. Even with penalties on it doesn't stop a certain amount of chicane jumping and during qualifying it's a joke as penalties don't work. So, just to make sure there is absolutely no chicane jumping (which i'm 100% sure you quality racers wont do!) i will take my car out for a quick qualifying lap alone on the track and then position it so that it's facing the main offending area! Should i happen to see anything then the grid will immediatly be reversed!
 
Surely if people are cutting in quality, it'll be obvious when they're slow in the race? Plus if we don't trust each other by now, it's a bit of a poor thing
 
Very very true, but in the interest of fairness to everyone, just like a real race it has to be monitored and have some form of guideline.
 
Well that's it, Saturday Racing Club, season 1 is now officialy over. We decided to push ahead with the final race at the Nordschleif as we had the drivers there and being realistic there wasn't any chances of getting more drivers if we had waited the 2 weeks.

So a big congratulations to Filip_Ovik who to be fair was dominant from the start. Also, congratulations to Carbonox for his well earnt 2nd place. I came 3rd overall in the points but i always ruled myself out from the start of having any prizes so, rather than waste 3rd places prizes i decided to award them to me-joca who in my eyes thoroughly deserves his prize spot! I also awarded most improved driver to SlyckTires who put up a great fight at Indianapolis to challenge for 1st place.

I hope that season 2 will get some more interest but i'm not holding my breath. I think it might be a non starter as we've had very little interest so far.

That aside, i would just like to say a big thankyou to everyone who participated in the whole series; without you it wouldn't have even existed! Hope to see you all on track again at some point, cheers ! 👍

Well... now it's over, 2 weeks ahead of time but still honorably finished the series. Thank you, you all have been excellent company and I really wish we can meet again on the track someday, even if it was just racing for fun.
