Hi..
I'm so sorry for late confirmation. My uncle passed away couple days ago so I'm little busy.
Can I use M3 GTR ? Also, I live in Indonesia so what time will be the race in my local time?

Thanks

Hi, i'm sorry to hear of your sad news, hope you are faring well.

As for your local time, i don't know. Room opens at 1330 uk time. We're currently in BST so best to do a net search for your time zones. Keep an eye out on this thread, i always announce when the room is open. As a rough help, the room will be open in approx 4 hours 20 mins' from the time of this post 👍

Your choice of car is fine :)

I think your race would then start at 20:30. In other words approx. 1h and 10mins from this message.

Room will be open in approx' 50 mins' :)

Ugh... I don't think I'll be able to make it this time either, I had no idea when I signed up that I'd be away so much. 👎:guilty:

Sorry, but the race is over already. We're still here though, having a bit of fun around Laguna Seca. :D

Only 6 finishers, not looking good. But a good race was had by those that took part !

What can I say about this? Awesome race with way too little participants. I could feel the excitement every single moment, since there was nobody who managed to escape into the lead at any point.

Qualifying glitched up, Filip had the fastest time, but me and FishyJuice were on the front row. Quickly the race formed into a three-way battle, when I, X180 and Filip kept exchanging positions. This only lasted for some time before X180 made an error and dropped last, but was surprisingly soon at 3rd and eventually caught up. Then the battle continued on and X180 actually hit me once on a braking moment, but I still emerged into the lead. On the 4th lap I just lost it at the end of the curving straight and went into the sand, no positions lost but I was badly down at that point.

Still, I went on to catch up the leaders again, and did it on the 6th lap, much to my surprise as I did have a 10-second deficit after the accident. X180 seemed to have some trouble (with tires, perhaps?) and me and Filip started getting away. It all ended in a dramatic way when I made a pass late on the 7th lap and managed to outbrake Filip on the penultimate chicane. At the last chicane, I almost cut the track and had to fix my lines a little, but nevertheless managed to win by less than a tenth of a second. There was probably some luck involved since Filip hit my back just after the chicane before moving alongside me, but a victory is always a victory :)

Well summed up, but it was actualy me who set the fastest qualifying lap and ended up grid place 6 out of 7! Strange, i always set it to fastest 1st without failure.

Indeed my tyres did go, halfway through lap 6. I hit the brakes at my usual braking point but there was no grip and it did it more and more resulting in a couple of trips to the gravel traps. I had the speed, but control was gone. Great race though and just a shame that only 6 of us finished; why did Cobrius leave so soon? Could have gained valuable championship points if he'd stuck it out!

How about the future of this series, are we now going to continue it as planned? There's quite a little of us and more people would obviously mean more racing (just imagine a 10-car drag race around Le Mans!) although we have had great moments even with the small field so far.

And as usual, the series table. Lots of changes now, although the top 4 remains as it is.

Series will continue as planned :)

New series to be announced very soon!

Announcement; Saturday 2nd of July i will be away. I would like your opinions guys. Would you like to A) Postpone week 7's race until the following week with the final the week after that or B) week 6 and 7's on the same day, back to back or C) have week 7's and 8's on the same day back to back?

A vote from me to B.

Reason: Monza and Indy resemble each other more than Indy and Nürb, which makes practicing potentially easier. And Nürb is much harder than either of those tracks, so having 2 weeks for practicing it would work nicely. :)

A photo from todays Le Mans race. The Lexus LFA's lead the way. Filip-Ovik catches a draft from me! 👍

Next week is week 5, it will be the week after. As soon as race 6 has finished, the room will be changed to week 7's track and it will immediatly continue with practice/qualifying and then the race :)

Looks like I'll not be able to start the championship now that something has come into my schedule for most Saturdays.

Wow, my first piece of testing and already things seem really exciting. I decided to use something new, in this case the S2000, and while it only had less than 500 PP, it had good handling even though it lost a bit in power. The best time with it (1'28.2) seemed okay...

...and then I took the BMW M3 CSL out, and after my first lap with it on the track, I got a 1'24.9... and improved by 4 more tenths on the following lap. Without ASM, the car behaves like a wild stallion on this course, but when handled properly, it reaches unbelievable laptimes. If this is gonna be the last round where I use this car, fine, I managed to plan out the last few races nicely as well :)

1:26. 1## is my best so far, got a bit of work to do i think or i'll be getting lapped, haha!

I too would like to vote for option B. Hopefully I will not have to start working weekends that week but if I do oh well.
As for XPOWER being "lapped" you always say you are going to be the slowest n then when race day comes you are like the fastest on the track.

That's true! :P He's been the leader at some point in every race now, and in Le Mans I think he was the fastest driver of the field, only that big tyre wear ruined his race at the end... Probably he was too aggressive on the early laps, I don't know, but nevertheless quick.
