I dont wanna start a new thread for this but ,

Would you guys rather the Suburu BRZ or the Scion FRS (or even the Toyota 86)?

I drive an Scion XD for a daily driver and kids i know that are lame drive Suburus. My answer is obvious, i also read that the suburu is a tick faster, but the Scion handles MUCH better. I could be wrong tho.

Well since they drive suburus and not Subaru's, you probably wont be considered lame.

Put some equally tasteless vinyls down the sides and it could be straight out of The Fast and the Furious.
 
Well, the wing seems to be high enough not to obstruct the rear view like usual tuner wings.. And it seems to be properly proportioned. Mind you, Supra and Celica both had large wings.
 
That is a really big wing. The truth is i think the car looks really sexy in almost every color BUT that red. That wing wouldn't look as big if it where black. Its kinda like a striped shirt.:sly:

haha, Your right. On GT5 they have that little mini spoiler that kinda rests on the trunk.Its not as 'sporty' but its not as awkward.

I change my mind, that is pretty ugly.
 
The less on the car, the better. I wish the standard wheels on the FR-S were a little less flashy. A simple five-spoke, gray wheel would have been fine.
 
I for one actually really like that rear wing. How come people don't complain about the ones on the STI and Evo? Looks nearly identical to me, maybe just a little bit more aggressive. I realize that the STI and EVO get them from their rally pedigree but still...

The STI and EVO have big wings on them but they are the performance version, if the lower trim level models had the same wing on them it would look bad. And the 86 being only the base model with Aero kit body kit makes it look a little on the ricer side and the big wing on it make it more of a ricer. But the body kit looks alright, it just the big wing that makes it look bad.

If they had made a more high performance version of the 86 then the Aero kit including the big wing, would have suited the car.


Also the 86 is a rally car.....

This. The BRZ is too small and dainty a shape to work with a huge wing. The STi and Evo are ugly brutes to start with and suit huge wings.

Also, because rally car.
 
I don't think Lexus would be able to do anything with it. It doesn't exactly fit in with Lexus' modern lineup, and in fact seems to have been designed to do the opposite.
