Good God that's a beautiful sound.

^ Its similar to one of those UK magazine articles (Evo, Car, & Autocar UK).

Speaking of single exhausts...looks like that final exhaust flange is placed perfectly for a straight axle-back right into that little cutout there.

That should work until Buddy Club makes a Spec 2 for it. <--- Santa hat

Almost seems... planned. You've got to love a design team that will willingly make space for an aftermarket muffler!

Edmund's is a good source. Technical people who actually know how to drive.

I'm starting to get really excited now. I just realized that, despite our stupid tarriff barrier, that having a Subaru version means they get to sidestep the Southeast Asian trade tarriff barrier via their Singaporean distributor MotorImage... which means that it should come in at a pretty nifty price. :D

I'm starting to like the Subaru version better. Headlights are a big deal.

Are there any night pics with the lights on?

-> I would like to know these versions of the BRZ!!! I need it for my Vehicle Database!!!

^ Got it from Motor Trend! :sly:

EDIT -> Could that white Legacy be the first first first prototype?

-> This is the second prototype. The famous one.

-> And this is the mixed-up version. Everyone got confused whether if its a Toyota or a Subie version.

Now we know the last one is the Toyota because of the headlights.

^ So it might be this then, its not the headlights but the BRZ's front bumper:

^ My bad. :)

Yeah, the top one is the toyota because of the ligths and grille. This new one is the suby.

Question: Does an LS3 fit?

lol that is always the important question lololol

I think the real question is will the next gen LT engines fit.

Again, with engine swaps - depends how tall the engine going in is. The Sciaru has a pretty low hood and I reckon you'd struggle to fit all but the most compact of engines in it.

So... Veyron W16 it is? :)

They just did what they've done with the last 2 gens of the impreza hatches.

4 turbos and 10 aircos just for the engine. I don't even have a single one in my house!

Two of those coolers are for the transmission and differential and and one is for the aircon. So 7 are just for the engine and 4 turbos.

Back on topic, I hope they come out with a light weight version of this, 1220kg is a bit heavy by my standards, but at least they kept it NA. I think it has potential with the right mods.

1220kg isn't "light" as such but nor is it heavy - it's very, very slightly more than a Renaultsport Clio Cup, for example (with about the same power but without the extra weight penalty of a propshaft, rear diff etc), and a good 2-300kg lighter than cars like the Focus RS or Renaultsport Megane, which isn't bad going at all.

I'm sure those wishing for something more extreme will remove whatever bits of trim they need to make it lighter.

Compared to the competition the BRZFRZ is a featherweight. Four seats for less than 1.5 tons is very light in my book.

That would depend on what you think the competition is.
Are we talking price wise, size wise, power wise?
Or are you thinking anything RWD with 2 doors?

Expect he means the latter. In the UK at least the Toyota will cost significantly more than the Renaultsport Clio I mentioned. Probably by a good £8-9k.

Are you really up to speed on how much cars weigh these days? Most compact cars hover around 1360kg, with some being much more than that.:dunce:
