[Update 1] All Scirocco R's will be locked to a tune I have created (I will allow you to request alterations to Camber (camber changes will only be allowed pre-season) and Tyre Pressures)

The base sponsors will be gifted to each entrant so they can add liveries below the the sponsors I have created (however you MUST NOT copy the custom decals and use them for resale or gift them to a 3rd party, I spent a lot of hours creating these and anyone found to have copied or gifted these logo's will be banned from the series)

[Update 2]

Qualification
Qualification will take place on the day of the race at 5pm GMT and will last 30 minutes

Collisions will be turned off to ensure no laps are 'dirtied' due to slipstreaming, dirtied laps will work like the leaderboard times so use your 30 minutes wisely.

Full damage and tyre/fuel sim is ON during qualifying, once the 30 minutes is up everyone will be asked to stop where they are on track while their best lap time is recorded.

The Race
The races will take place on a Sunday 10 minutes after qualifying, this will allow drivers to take a short break in between Quali and Race.

The real life Scirocco Cup takes place over 50km, this seems quite low, so for the mean time I will not decide a length until more test mileage is completed.

The race will start as a rolling start, Pole position driver becomes the pace car and the grid will be sorted before the first corner. After this a formation lap will start, this will be no faster than 60mph, no overtaking, no brake testing, the lead car will decide after the last corner when to start the race, there will be no overtaking before the Start/Finish line.

Pit Stops
Restricted test mileage shows that cars will not need to make a pit stop.

1 Pit Stop is mandatory

[Update 4]

Racing Etiquette and Driving Aids
Being an online race it's very hard to police bad driving during a race, I ask that all racers follow the below Etiquette for clean fair racing

1. The Scirocco Cup is a NON CONTACT sport, any contact accidental or otherwise will be looked at after the race

2. Defending, be sure to defend your position fairly, this means no more than 1 move of position across the track, no sudden moves across the track that would cause your attacker to have to slow down rapidly

3. Attacking, when attacking it is important to know where your opponent(s) are, if you have the inside line but are behind the defending car before turn in you must give way to the defender, this is also the case for the defender if the attacker has passed the defender before turn in.

4. Accidents, if you are involved in an accident that causes damage or stops your race and you cannot continue you will be required to stay in the race and park in a safe spot off track, after the race you must save your replay and send it to the host (Fezz ST) who will look at the incident and take appropriate action

5. Corner cutting, you are required to stay within the course limits at all times during the race (if you are still racing and not retired) there are some corners out there which let you cut a fair amount off the kerbs, so here is a guide to show you what is acceptable and what is not

5.1 Perfect cut

5.2 Acceptable cut only when there is a secondary kerb

5.3 Illegal cut

[Update 5]

Pit lane etiquette

Upon Entering/exiting the pit lane you must not cross the white line, crossing the white line during any session will result in a 5 place grid penalty at the current or next race

Stay within the white lines until they end!

Do NOT cross the white line

Racing when another driver is exiting the pit lane: if you are in a battle with another driver down the main straight and another driver is exiting the pits but is still in the confines of the pit exit limit line you may not enter the pit exit line until you have passed the exiting car and the track is clear, failure to obide by this rule will result in a time penalty after the race and/or grid penalty

OP Updated

Once Testing of the Scirocco R tune is complete I will start with Pre Season practice sessions on random tracks, these rooms will be set to maximum laps so you can duck out/stop/pit whenever you wish

Season Dates and tracks will be confirmed tomorrow

Btw are you going to make mandatory number plates?

Sorry didn't see this, everything you can see in the pictures above is mandatory, because the livery will be gifted to you you'll be able to create a custom livery below the mandatory decals

Ok no problem. Another thing, when you send the livery make sure to take out the numbers inside the number plate and tell us what are the angles where it's suppose to go. Also, tell us what number style to use, what size, and where does the numbers go inside the number plate (The angles). Cheers.

OP Updated

I have started working on my Livery for this, I suggest you all start too  send me an FR and I'll send you the base livery

Ah, those times... that runs right into my GT5 time on Sundays. :/

Times are flexible, I just don't want to run into dinner time in the UK, 3/4pm GMT would be 8/9am your time, if that would be better?

OK, here's my livery coming along nicely *NOW FINISHED

Can you all choose your numbers for your cars please, I'll be choosing number 12

Looks nice, but yeah, earlier than that wouldn't work either. Possibly Saturday would, but that's stretching it too. Thanks though.
