Search on 3 characters?

It would be helpful when looking for GT2 specific threads in the time trials forum, for instance. I understand that it probably quadruples search time, but still, just wondering if this is something we can do somehow.

I remember this was a problem before when someone wanted to search for a thread called "how old are you?"

Needless to say it yielded no results, and there are very few variations which would have. I don't think Jordan has any plans to change this though. The extra server strain would far outweigh the benefits.

From our point of view, it has nothing to do with time and everything to do with the way vbulletin have written the software. The vbulletin controlled advanced search cannot search for words of less than 4 characters.

However, the Google search box can.
