Does this game look good at all in 720p?

My TV is 1080i / 720p and GT5 seems to run better in the latter. It may be my set, but 1080i seems less defined when displaying fast moving images.

To summarise, it looks good enough to make me ponder licking the screen 👍

Yes, it can, depending on your screen size. You only really NEED 1080p if you have a larger screen (say, around 37" and up). Under that size, you're not really going to see that big of a difference.

Oh, I know you're excited about GT5. We all are. However, this is hardly something that needs a full thread dedicated to it. In the future, try and add to existing threads.
