My heart couldn't take another race like that! Had to have a cuppa tea to calm down after that one. Kicking myself for not running softs. So hard to make a break from the car behind. Looking forward to Suzuka and racing with johnboy and xpower again. All good clean fun!

Might make it 2 or 3 a night but no point getting most of the season done with for 6 racers ... at least now if people join theyre only 2 races down so 2 podiums would put them in it.

When we can get at least 10+ for commitment then it might become an option. Like I said I only just made it because of work and last week someone had to go early because theres "apparently a more important race" HA!

But we'll see :)

Good race by everyone ... Nearly had acedition on the last bend when he spun off and was a drag race to the line and decent driving by shrimp until he lost it on lap 8 :( had no competition for the last 3 laps... 👍

PS. did anyone else see syjones's left rear wheeel arch sticking out by about a foot?!?

Yeah isnt that a DQ?? LOL only kidding.

Maybe as a suggestion, if some people feel the race is over too quick then how about making them longer which could also bring pitting into the strategy?

I did! Looks like someone took a tin opener to it.

Or more shorter races perhaps 5 laps per race just gives scope for different winners.💡

Not worth the effort and time commitment for 5 laps, 10's few enough but 5 takes the mickey.

Just thrashing out ideas will leave to ihealy to decide in the future all good.👍

how would we know if everyone pits??? Never raced with pit-stops.
My tires were less than half way, grip was going bye bye. thats how you came close Ihealy... I found myself in the sand pit the last turn!:nervous:

You wouldn't know if everyone pits ! In my race series each race is 30+ minutes which opens a pit window. Choice is, can you make your tyres last long enough with each lap deteriorating or do you go for a pit stop costing you a bit of time? Strategy is everything!

Just had a word with johnboy and thinking:
- 2 Races in one night
- Same Track
- Reverse grid for second race

Like the BTCC and then gives people the chance of having a decent race the second time round like Shrimp who had that bad first lap and played catch up the rest of the race ... (I know what its like playing catch up for 10 laps :( )

But obviously will need more people for commitment and the popularity of the vote ...
Im up for that and john boy too so thats 2 👍

That sounds good. So 1st race finishes, then we have an immediate start for the 2nd to avoid anyone going out on track?

Imo this would be better ive done some long races with pit stops etc you tend to find people start quiting as the race pans out mainly if they have a bad lap or 2 interest is soon lost i started a 12 grid race on the ring recently with 2 pit stops over 14 laps 5 finished the rest quit!!!:ouch:

You got it XP reckon it will add another 15/20 minutes to the evening.👍

WIMPS !!! 1 point is always better than 0 ! Never quit, never give up.

I like the sound of this. But at least a cup o tea break in between races :)

Yeah a nice 10-15 mins to move away from the edge of your seat an rearrange your wedgie :)

I'm up for 2 races in a row... same track? How would the points system work??
Seems like everyone splits after the race. :dunce:

Two races sounds like a great idea. Like the reverse grid start for the second race. I was also feeling the races were a bit short. Two races back to back would definitely shake points up a bit also. I'd imagine points would still be same format? No need changing them really.

Once again, sorry for missing race today. I just couldn't miss my little sisters high school graduation. I'll be at every race from here on out.

Will have to be 2 sets of points so 50 points up for grabs ... if people choose to split after first race then they'll lose out on extra points.

Liking the idea of reversed grids. Would we have to do another qualy or will it just take the results of race one and reverse them?

If we go out in a qualy and line up on a straight in reverse order and start the race that does the trick.

Reverse grid SY from race one result no quali for race 2, there is a menu option to set this up.
