Or you can just do a trade.

I got my F1 cars by trading, separately, a CLK-GTR and a 908, so there are other options.

I'm just glad they at least gave us something to do, even though I like how the seasonals were before. But I might be going to GT3 as soon these are completed.

I planned my budget, relying on the Seasonals to get me 2.8 million credits (2 MIL + 2.8 MIL = 4.8 MIL) and reward myself with an FGT... but no! BUMMER!! THIS SUCKS! I want the old Seasonals back... bastards!!! :grumpy:

You never know what people are willing to trade for. If you have a car that I don't have in my garage then I will trade you an F2007 for it.

True but I won the first FF race with a 194hp Honda Civic R with Sport Soft tires (probably only needed Sport Hard actually) so the suggestions are at least realistic for a semi-good driver like me.

I just did it with the 215 hp Motul Civic prize car and found it far too boring. I think it's time for another shot with a Lupo.
 
Here's a fun fact! For the 4WD Challenge,the description says your car is limited to 400 bhp and other cars have upto 394 bhp. Turns out the other cars are upto 442 bhp! XD
 
I'm so happy there is none of the ridiculously big payouts. Shows how hypocritical everyone was. This is just like an extension to A-Spec, which people have been crying out for, but, oh no, the huge payouts (XP and money) are gone! Suddenly there not so keen..

Yeah..finally F1 cars in official event. BTW, since the big payouts is gone, do we still got the Cr if we play it again & again (like A-Spec events)?

I needed about 2 mil so I can buy a R92 that's in my used car lot before it disappears :(
 
Dont get me wrong, new races are always a bonus so no complaints there. I just wish we had the seasonals as well. I mean i work a 12 hour a day job, i get at most an hour a day to play, and i have other stuff to do. So the seasonals finally gave me a shot at reaching lvl 30 with the seb vet challenge. Im on level 27 right now and the grind is starting to get me down.

They gave me a shot at getting cars i wanted and the levels as well. So i am a tad disapointed they have taken the massive bonus payout away.

But hey i will get through these and then back to the grind, im just lucky the last set of seaonals finally put me over the creds needed for the FGT.

well after such a drastic pay cut from 1.5 million down to 113,000... i dont think they will.. i just started these races and was hoping to get in on big cash this week myself as i have a car hit list to finish off..

From the posts I've read that one is able to grind these seasonal events now.

Hit that X @ the upper right of your screen if you're suing Windows or the same X but on the left if you're on an Mac.

You can always trade for one. I traded someone my R92CP earlier this evening for the Panoz Esperante.

I am at level 32, I have finished all the A spec races, save the endurance events, and have 12 million plus dollars. I have done this legitimately. No duping, no trading, no birthday glitch. However, I am extremely upset that the big payouts are gone from the seasonal events. I am SO sick of grinding Indy to try and afford truly outrageously priced cars like the Ferrari 330, Jaguar XJ13, Ford Mark IV, and the X2010. The prices of the cars compared to the payouts in the races is severely out of balance. The seasonal events seemed to be a glimmer of hope that I could actually attain some of these cars on my own. That seems to be gone now and I think it's a shame.
 
Yuck. A batch of pointless events. The F1 seems okay, though. Too bad I don't have the proper car nor the money to buy it, and my next trade window will only come in some 7 days.
 
mmmmmmm, Was kinda relying on this week's seasonals for huge payouts as I only got about 500,000 Cr left in my account due to buying the jaguar XJ9-R (4,500,000 cr i think). Oh well back to the grind.

They are no different from any events in the game, you race yourself against the AI, if you think they are pointless don't play them.


And LOL at everyone who was relying on the seasonals to reward them big payouts, like GT5 owes them something.
 
hmm...that must be a very inefficient programm code, if it lasts 2 weeks, to put this few changes(races) online....

partially good idea, but actually pretty dissapointing.
I dont get it, why Pd doesnt want to use the big potential and possibilities of that game...

I would love to pay 10 Euro, just to see, what it takes to put these events online.
Either i just dont get it or isnt it just so simple:

-tracks OK
-cars OK
-Framework to set up a race OK
-online Framework OK
-Copy/Paste buttons OK

?


I think a much better Idea would have been to add these 4 "seasonal events" with an update to A-Spec and let the seasonal events be as they was...or is this so ***** difficult`?!

yeah, its better than nothing, but i think there are much better alternatives which could have been modified or updated in the same amount of time...

After doing the FR challenge and noticing the horrible payout, I was really hoping on a prize car for completing the set of races (just like in A and B spec) but no prize car.

Do you go back to the amateur series when you are level 30+??


That is about how useful these new events are. I give up on this game...... back to iracing i guess.



Also you think that me being forced to do the indy 5 lap event 65times or so for me to get from 3-10 million (to buy a ferrari f1) is good game design?
