I like the new format, for the true gt5 fan thats not bothered by level etc its great as you basically now get a new "expansion pack of real races" every couple of weeks, solving the main issue of too little races to keep you occupied

I'm level 31 and do not care if it takes years to get to level 40, by that time I would have done hundreds of new races and enjoyed the game as it was supposed to be

PS. Any restrictions this time around?

F1 challang is Alot of fun.
Rewards for Indy are:
111,200Cr
27800xp

Nurb GP/F
143,000cr
35909xp

Toyko
113,500Cr
28000xp

F12010 defiantly is much more fun. Looks and
Feels much better still an awesome race thou :)

O.T. Easily did the 1st race in the historic series with the Z28; having a REALLY hard time in the 2nd race. Keep finishing 2nd with the 2J getting a pretty good lead......

I think if I could keep him behind me; but the 2J always seems to start out in front of me....

Also off topic, but I finished those races pretty easily in the 71 Mustang, the video is on youtube. But I've since realised the Race mod Challenger is a much faster car than the Mustang, you can be in front before the end of the first lap of deep forest in that and then pull away. Very easy if you have the right car for the job

well this is disappointing. i am not a hard core grinding for levels fanboy, i do not want to do the same race a billion times to save up for a car. I have a job, 2 kids a wife and go to full time school. i just dont have the time for this nonsense. i want to get on gt5, buy an interesting car and then drive it. the old seasonal events gave me that. now it seems i have lost the one thing that made gt5 bearable

Are you really trying to bait me into insulting you? Seriously, if you can't have a civil conversation with someone, you might as well just stay quiet. Just don't try to bash someone because you don't agree to his point of view.

I am having a civil discussion you are the one who is obviously saying one thing but meaning something else then claiming that you did not actually mean it.

I think your BS is the only insulting thing here.

Yes but if they are not going to make them relevant for the majority of people playing ............ what is the point of adding them?

If your eyes did not light up when you seen the 4WD and other drive specific events, you shouldn't even call yourself a GT fan.. These events hold true form to what GT is and always has been.

Just because we got spoiled for a few months with high paying events does not make these events any less relevant.. they are extra content, and just to comment on your other post about these being worse than events in Amateur series, these events pay out about 3-4 times what the challenges in A-spec mode do.

These were fun. I got to use my GTR SpecV (800+HP), Escudo and Bugatti Veyron for the 4x4 races....hahahaha

Meh! This sounds like the normal a-spec races. So now we're grinding seasonal event. Yeepee!

If you consider playing the game to be a chore, you really should do something better with your spare time..

It's easy money and xp, especially for people who don't have much time to play or are new to the game. It also exposes people to cars that they may not have tried previously, and introduces new car comparisons not present in A-Spec or B-Spec events.

That was true for the 6 last seasonal events. Not anymore.

some of you guys must have literally no lives. seriously, you actually want to spend 30 hours doing the same track over and over again...?

When i first read this i just wanted to go "awww".. But in all seriousness, a job, 2 kids and full time school, shouldn't you be studying or something? ha! Why not just go and exploit your save file like all the others that complain about not having time to play.. Hell i feel bad for ya, ill gift you a car of your choice if you want lol

Great...
PD are listening to us on this forum right?
Well it doesn't feel like it. I agree with HJLamont.
I genuinely think PD doesn't consider us to have lives outside of GT.
Grinding sucks. Are they stupid or doing this on purpose?
Grinding has no place in modern gaming now, if any other game used this method of game progression they would be ripped appart!

Most gamers have no life. Good thing I found a cure about 2 years ago, aka the number of hours played that showed in the game I was playing... and when I saw that I had played more than 2000 hours in 4 years, that's when I realized that I wasted a "2 year college course" worth of time (about 1800 hrs for a course).

Grinding is fine if they add on to a game, take Disgaea for example. Anyways, I'm quite disappointed with the new events. I spend 40 minutes doing the Ferrari event to only find out I get about 400k in credits and 90k in EXP. No prize car or anything, it feels like a waste when I can just go grind Indy for a few minutes.

Who is grinding? You are missing the point I think all of you.

There is no grind, are in a hurry to ge tto 40? Who you racing? Play and enjoy the game levels mean nothing here this is not a fing mmo.

Rewards and good enough for you to buy whatever car you want. And with previous events you should have enough cash to buy whatever you want.

Just because this car cost 20 mil dont mean u must have it NOW NOW NOW.

Do you only play this game for the credits? Do you get no enjoyment out of actually racing?

about 9mil short for the Ferrari F1 and in OCD has the orange FGT so another 5 mil and the grinding begins again

No not at all. It's just when you pass the guy in first by the end of the second lap and you still have 8 to go. It just feels like a complete waste. I love racing, but when there's no competition it just loses whatever fun it has. I only did the F1 event, so I wasn't driving a vastly overpowered car. Just the AI doesn't make it all that interesting.

I'm sure they consider people to have lives out side of GT, it think the real question is why do your think everything should just be handed to you on a silver platter? Thats what b-spec is for (in my opinion at least..), to earn you extra cash and cars when you don't have time to be sitting playing the game..
Start it, turn the tv back on, go on with your life, forget about it, come back and wish you wouldnt have forgot about it so you could start the next race.. rinse/repeat.. lol

Just for the record, I don't spend all my time playing and doing this so called grinding. When i play i enjoy the race. And usually its online, I don't see the AI as much as a challenge as i do see it as a learning tool for people who don't know how to brake properly and not run into other cars heh.. (not saying this is your case, for all i know you could drive really well. its just my opinion on AI)

Don´t complaint and just try to have some fun with the game, after all its only a game, if I may make a suggestion try the FF Races for some challenge with the Peugeot 207 GTI '07 bone stock with confort softs, every body should have this car from previous seasonal's

Need a trade for a Ferrari F1 because I don´t have the CR's for it.
Don't worry be happy.

Well thats understandable if you did that in the Ferrari race but I guarantee
you there is fun to be had by limiting your own car in the rest of them, I'm up to my third try of Rome Circuit now and I have slowly been upping the power till I'm close to winning.
This for me is what the seasonals were about all along, taking go after go until you win not just beating the race for the sake of beating it.

Soon will come the day when the casuals all leave the game for the next big thing and there will be no rammers with x1's and veyrons lol, Keep it up PD I can see some leaving already :p

No mate i'm not in a hurry to get to 40.
I would just like to be able to play the game and buy the cars i want without sitting there on the same track doing the same race over and over.
My girlfriend thinks i'm bonkers, she says
"you only ever race this track, a circle, round and round, this game is stupid".

If you have a Job and a girlfiend/family, PD will take this off you. you will lose your job and your girlfriend if you play the game how they want you to.
