Not uptight, just been doing entire game w/o aids so far, golding everything I've done so far including the 1st bonus seasonal races.

I just wanted to know if anyone had a setup they won with on the Focus ST challenge w/o aids. After a couple hrs trying, I can only get to within 4 seconds of the leader with my own setup. I need a couple more 10ths a lap or more. Nothing seems to work.

After I pass he second place driver on lap 3, the 1st place driver starts going faster or equals my lap times even though I gain on him consistently until I pass 2nd place driver. Seems fixed.. but probably isn't.

In the nascar challenge I completed the first lap in position 12/12.. Is it me or are these cars so darn fast?

All online challenging cars are premium and available to buy at the dealer ;)
 
Don't get an oil change in the CR-Z, I do it out of habit but it put me 2hp over the limit... guess I'll b-spec it until the oil goes bad.
 
mini race - easy peasy

nascar race - no probs

Focus ST race *throws controller*

I hate that Focus RS :(

I'm going to tackle that today.. didn't get better than 2nd yesterday with my own setup. I'm only interested in non SRF setups.

I see the Mini race, the Fiat race.....some time trials but no Mustang race?????
 
I gotta say I love the posts where people say I bought an RX-7 at the dealership and modded it to 393 and got 1st or second. I call B.S. Theres far more to the RX-7 event than that. There's some tuning going on and or other mods that arent mentioned. I've had good drivers do that race and get owned. If someone has beat this please post the full model type of RX-7 you got. There's literally like 20 different models. If there's a specific tune that helped you win please post it. Many people would love to know. (why does it show 800kg when you can only reduce ur car to like 1060 max?) These Vanilla posts don't help. 👍
 
Anyone manage the SS5 Skyline challenge in anything but a R35? I am retrying with an R32 VspecII but even with weight 1+2 and 491bhp and close 6 speed trans mission i can only finish 2nd and thats with SFR on!

With an R35 modded out i completed with no SFR...

Did you have assists on? I first tried with no assists and was 12th. I was never able to close on the cars. My time differential to the leader was the same for the whole event, within a few seconds. If you want to go faster you have to go pure arcade mode - switch to skid recovery force and drive the thing like an arcade twitch racer (so much for the "real driving simulator"). To win this event you have to turn in a lap time faster than any real car has ever driven the 'Ring.
