What happened to the OCD being stacked with +500,000Cr cars. This corvette overload is a little bland. Sauber is about the only thing I'm keen on grabbing.

Can't use the C5-R. Odd :boggled:

Really odd... You shouldn't need it though. Just the weight reduction, supercharger and racing tyres on an '09 ZR1 scrapped me through. I had all ready won it with ease with the exhaust etc. But you don't need it

Bleh...looks like the Cappucino will need some HP boosts, can't come close to that i concept...10 seconds off

Fortunately I had a stock ZR1 and stock Scuderia laying around.

I found the Corvette race very challenging with the stock ZR1. Oil change and race hard tires were my only mods. It took me 4 tries to catch that Camaro.

The stock Scuderia beat that race quite easily on sport soft tires and an oil change.

I was too lazy to remove all the mods from my Corvette RA1 RM and my 200 hp MX-5 Miata, so I pretty much lapped most of the field and took the money. I'll make the other three challenging.

Whats up with that GT Drivers events they talked about in the news update on the mode select screen?

really PD?!?! a miata at ******* tsukuba?!?! 4hours ISNT ENOUGH!!!
but i can never get enough laps at monza in a ferrari :)

Bought the Suzuki cappucino, did oil change, added LSD and sport tires. Set LSD to 8/10/8 and entered. Got 2nd place fairly easily, but ran the exact same lap times as the leader, just 21 seconds behind for all 5 laps.

I love the GT series, but this is the one thing that I have always hated about the series. Why do they always put one car that blows the field away. There my be 12 cars on the track, but I am truly only racing against one. I would rather have 5 cars fighting it out on the last lap then to have to chase down one car. The other cars just become obsticles at that point.

Next try I added full trans, racing air filter and cat converter. Car worked better with LSD set to 5/5/5. Trying to spend little money tuning. Can hold throttle wide open except for three corners. Still finished 2nd place and 15 seconds behind lead AI.

604.555 Winning AI.

Third try and I beat the AI by 4.5 seconds. They are all still faster on the straights. I added the tuning ECU and semi-racing exhaust.

Sorry, but can we have the 'Time Frame' for this event? Should be two weeks right?

It's updated to offer cars that correspond with the Event races.

Got the cappucino on sports soft, ecu, sports exhaust, and racing filter...
and lost by .002 seconds on the straight. That little miev has more HP and dominates the straight.

Awesome i go the cars for the most valuable racers fully tuned, new the money i spent on the Scud would pay off.

I'm trying to stick to the opponent tire type. Unfortunately that means I've got to run a race, replay it and switch to an AI driver to see his tires. But anyway this way I can try it stock first and get an idea of how much tuning I'll need. Not the most cost-efficient, but I think I'm learning more this way. Anyway, I already have a race-modified corvette for that last one :)

Yeah. Luckily I still had my '07 Miata from the Tsukuba race. It was already maxed out. Same with the Ferrari and the Corvette races. The only ones I needed to tune were the Nissan and the Cap.

I struggled somewhat with the Cappuccino race. Race modded it + low RPM turbo, sports intake manifold, racing air filter, sports exhaust manifold, catalytic converter sports and engine stage 1 & 2.

I did want to keep it on the standard Comfort Medium tyres so that made it quite a bit trickier. Good fun to drive though. Lots of power (well..) and rubbish tyres. Won by 0.119, nice and close.

Tried the Mazda race stock and probably could have won it, but I hate Tsukuba, and especially driving a stupid Mazda roadster round their after doing the 4 hour race. Yawn. So stuck some sports tyres on it and gave it fully customisable transmission and romped home for victory.

Nissan Skyline at Trial Mountain was fun. Tried it stock again but the car wasn't much fun on default tyres so upgraded to sports soft and won relatively comfortably.

The Ferrari race was harder than I expected first try, but then I overdid it massively with the tuning! Racing Hard tyres, sports ECU, customisable transmission and sports intake manifold/racing air filter saw me win by almost 30 seconds.

Finally just RM ZR1'd the last one. Easy. Couldn't be bothered with a challenge. Don't particularly like driving the Corvette's, RM'd or otherwise.

Looking forward to Seasonal Event 7 now! Glad this has become a weekly thing. This one was the most disappointing so far though IMO. Still fairly decent credit haul for me to spend :D
