I'm trying to enter now and see them but first my PS3 found an update so now i just sit and wait for the bloody thing to finish :ouch:

EDIT: Seasonal Event 6 is up. Tuning restrictions are still set to off

The bonus races are:
Suzuki cappucino
SSR5
50,000CR
20000XP

The total prize fund for the Cappuccino event is 150,000cr not 50K, apart from that good work :D:tup:

These were ineteresting races....very happy to be able to use my RM Cappucino in a fun little race. The roadster race was ok, but I'm sick of the track. Love the Ferrari, and used the opportunity to get that car. The RM Corvette was as good as ever.

The only race I didn't like was the one in the Nissan. Don't like that car at all.

nice to see that they did a corvette event. considering i have bought almost every corvette in the game, i was glad

Just some personal observations after read the conditions:

* Total 3.500.000 Cr & 350.000 Exp <--- Every week the total amount increases?
* MX-5 at Tsukuba <--- PD, not very brilliant thinking a new challenge
* Ferrari 430 Scuderia at Monza <--- Another cliche. Yes, i like this! :dopey: but not a very brilliant creative moment again, eh?
* Indy Road Course <--- At last. This circuit (road version) appears in so few races in A-Spec. 👍

I agree with every one of your observations 👍 but have a few of my own...
All the corvettes in the OCD<----Fail, why so many? I know there is a corvette race and people are at different skill levels. But i don't think a C1 'vette could win with any driver
The GT-One & Sauber in OCD<---👍 i remember reading a list of race cars recently that ranked them on lap time, top speed & acceleration and these were number 1 & 2. Thanks for the best two cars in the game PD 👍
The F430 at monza<----------------I know you said it first, but this was so much much fun. I lost it the first time when i crashed on the last corner. I wasn't even mad, nuff said
The XP & Credit haul<--------------👍 while it can ruin the game for people just starting career mode i feel these high value races are great. They dragged me out of the grind and i've golded every race since event #1. My solution to the n00b cash grab? stick a level cut off (23 is fair IMO) on the bigger paying events.

I'm probably being thick and have overlooked something obvious but how do you know what tyres your opponents are on?

What cars could be used for the Tsukuba race?

I used the Roadster '07 (I think). Were there other options?

^nope^ '07 only. Same one i had already put around tsukuba for 6 hours. (left the ps3 alone for an hour the first time and it turned off)

I would like to know that to, i´ll certainly get the C9, one of the best looking cars of those days.
Nice to see Portuguese people here, cumprimentos ao Porto(cidade)

I think you can check it when running a replay of the race. Just select one of the AI racers to watch.

WOOHOO

I'm getting myself a speed 8 tonight:cheers:

And for the first time it seems I don't need to buy any car for the events I actualy have them all:dopey:

Sorry, but can we have the 'Time Frame' for this event? Should be two weeks right?

Yup, two weeks should do it. Oddly, while their update on the News section said the times would be changing (to AM instead of PM), the new event shows to be open 'til 9*PM* local time, two weeks from last night. I'd have though it would have to cut off at 9*AM* to stick to their new timeframe... Guess not.

It's updated to offer cars that correspond with the Event races.

Yup - the OCD is generally geared towards the highest-paying, most recent Seasonal Event. I wouldn't be surprised at some point if you could get ALL your SE cars there (RM's Cappuccino, for instance).

Once again, the SE have forced me to buy cars I wouldn't really want or need otherwise, but I'm not complaining; even after buying and prepping the cars, you still end up a good chunk of change ahead. And having more events is always welcome.

I decimated the 'Vette event with the ZR-1 RM. May have to go back and do it again with something less dominant. Took a couple tries on the Cappuccino race, which was fun. Haven't run the others yet, but look forward to them. In all, I had to buy three cars (Cap, Roadster, and Skyline 350GT). After prepping each of them (plus my 430 Scud) with Sports Soft tires, ECU, hi-flow cat, and intake, there's still a couple million credits available to buy something fun. And as luck would have it, I *DON'T* have a Bentley Speed 8 Race Car yet! :)

As always, these races *could* be more challenging, but then again, they CAN be - it's all up to us to make them so! I like the way PD is doing things now, mixing things up a bit. Some races are walkovers, some races you go into thinking you'll be able to just drop the hammer on the competition, only to find out you've brought a butter knife to a gunfight.

Well, the FGT, the C9, and the Speed 8 are all in the 5-million range, give or take a few hundred grr. The Stratos is around 275k, if memory serves, the Speed 12 is a li'l over 200k *I think*, and I believe the others are all under 100k each.

I'll be picking up the Speed 8 and the FGT (I got a silver one in the OCD, which is a new color for me!); already got the C9 (it's magnificent), the Stratos, and the GT-R Pace Car. I've got some of the 'Vettes, but I'll probably pick up the Grand Sport, the Z-06 '00 and the ZR-1 '90, just because.

The OCD is partially geared towards cars that you CAN use in some of the events. You would definitely would NOT get a Cappuccino in there, simply because you can buy it in the Premium Dealership anyway, as you can buy a car there for ALL seasonal events so far.

The Online Dealership is just there to give you the opportunity to buy some rare cars people need in GT Life or more options for the Seasonal Events in case more than one particular car is allowed (like the Corvette race). (because you can't cycle through enough game days to get the model you could also compete in in the UCD)

Online dealership:

Bentley speed 8
Sauber mercedes

great news!

um, something's wrong here. the suzuki isn't in my premium dealer. only their concept 4200 or something-or-other was there. um..... i'm concerned

The C9 is now on my shopping list ;)

Not gonna get enough for the Speed8...

I hope the colour of my FGT is yellow/black, red, or white.. otherwise the new online UCD sucks for me.. I'm getting most of those cars, besides the corvettes, in trades..

Mine is green and white :)

Tsukuba is a nice track, but gets boring fast. Not looking forward to that endurance a-spec on it, but maybe the short length will make it interesting because of lapped AI?
