Nope same old seasonals. Sorry to disappoint.:guilty:

Well crud.I was hoping there was a Civic Seasonal. That could have been good fun.

I haven't fired up GT5 since i got gold on the Expert Events so a new seasonal would have been great.Oh well maybe next week.

Nice man.Thanks for the info.

I won't be firing up GT5 tonight though.I stayed out too late and i'm about beat.I'm off work this weekend(for once)so i'll start up some GT5 bright and early at 6 am tomorrow moring :)

Used the 97R with sport soft, ECU, Stage 2, racing air filter, sport exhaust. Won all the races first time around. Some where nail biters (Eifel), some where walk-aways (Deep Forest) but lots of fun. Got to try my '79!

I actually enjoyed this one, I used my 97 Type R for the first time, what a fun little car!

I like the kart track from this seasonal event, as long as you stick to sport hard and keep your car allmost stock it's hard to win with a large margin.

I enjoy winning quickly so I can buy out the UCD faster.

I'm killing the competion with my civic type r '08. Handles like it stuck to the road

Has anyone else noticed you can't use the CRX on this challenge. I always thought the CRX was a Civic derivative.

Yes, i noticed too, can't use mogul civic(?) either, i think using those makes an too easy challenge? I did rm my '97 (?, the new one with 3 doors, i.e. not the '08 5door model) thise works like a charm, it almost becomes impossible to lose if you rm:lol:

Hey fitftw did you want that car I owe you modified to my lightweight specs or stock?

I'd prefer stock but you can leave it modded if you want

Stock it is!
I collect them, every time one comes up in the UCD I buy it.
Have a half dozen in the garage currently. Couple stock, couple max tuned, and a couple restricted for the lightweight K cup seasonal.

Extremely fun cars. Hope you enjoy it.
Sending it in about 5-10 minutes.

I realised doing these challenges that you can make the RM EK Civic a 6 speed :( is this the same with other rm cars?
Also the EG Civic doesn't have J Spec rear lights that it should have.

I'm surprised that I haven't tried the Civic Seasonal races yet, seeing as I normally finish all 5 Seasonal races on the same day they become available.
I guess I can just use the first car that I bought in GT5 (CIVIC SiR-II '95), either that or the '97 Type R.

having a lot of fun with my pimped out type-r ek :D
gotta luv the bonus suits and helms too!

I´m grinding CSR5 and Eifel with my 450pp Civic Type-R ´08. (minimal weight added (30kg or so) and minimal power limited <2%)

At CSR5 i can´t go under 56.238 => does anyone got a 55.9xx or lower with the same car ??

And at Eifel I can´t go under 51.174. But I know it would be possible to get a 50.9 or lower.

My Tranny is perfect for both tracks. At CSR5 I hit 213kph before bracking in first turn 6th gear (while Drafting 219kph).
The 5th gear max is 186kph => I don´t need the 6th gear at Eifel because I only get 181kph before last Turn.

For me the AI is a reason why I can´t get certain Times, but I´m happy with my times (I can drive the "peak-Times" frequently)

Okay just pulled up to a spotlight behind an early model CRX. Left hatch corner reads Honda, right hatch corner reads CIVIC. So I'm wondering if Honda originally classed the CRX as just another model of CIVIC, why PD excluded at least these early models from the seasonal?

^ thanks for the Cuore! It is pretty amazing.

And in America the CRX is a Civic, as is the del Sol. I'm pretty sure it's the same in Japan. I suppose they just allow the Civic-looking Civics.

Did you try out my tunes for the Cuore TR-XX?

And yeah I know their CIVICs just wondered at PDs logic:)

I used the EK hatch too. Put some light mods, lightened it and put a balast on it to get a 50/50 balance and put some sport soft tires on it. Handles extremely well. Even took it down with a restriction so it performed below stock HP and it still rocked the competition.

49's are possible, I've hit it once or twice, but consistently run low 50's, but with the 97 RM Civic.

Your using a wheel right?
Because I'm running low 52's - high 51's with a DS3 Controller
My G27 setup isn't complete.:(

DFGT, yeah.

At Eifel with '01 civic type R (eu ep) 450pp RS tyres weight balanced 4:27.758 with a best lap 52.480. Lots of fun was lapping cars on the last lap so got blocked of a better overall time. DS3 btw

At Clubman did a 56.608 with same car and ds3
