i'm very annoyed with this exotics dealership. in my opinion, they made it sound like we could purchase those 6 cars. period. not with the same relative probability of a wheelspin. not with hours of restarting and hoping to get lucky.

so i tried a different approach... buying everything. just to see if it affected the pool, or the refresh rate. expensive, but i already own the entire auto show, i have 50 million spare credits, and an endless income stream from tuning*

purchased: abarth 131, 595 - alfa 4c, 8c, gta, 33s, giulia - ferrari dino, enzo, f40, f40c, j50, laferrari, monza, 250gt, 458, 488, 430, 512s, sf90, 812, f12tdf - lambo countach, miura, murci, sto, technica, urus, gallardo spyder - lancia delta s4, delta evo - maserati mc20, mc12 corsa - pagani huayra r, zonda r, huayra bc

40 million credits spent, and the game did not show me a single wheelspin exclusive. and now i haven't seen a new car in over an hour. i would say i've done 200 restarts in 5 hours. this is an epic failure in terms of game design and engagement.

i do not recommend any method of exploiting this dealership. no amount of restarts or purchases seems to affect the available cars. my only hope is that the algorithm changes on a daily or weekly basis. but i'm not going through anything like this again. the only saving grace was getting around 100 new promo cars of people swarming the dealership, only to be disappointed.

all of the cars i bought will be available as cheap as possible at auction today and tomorrow.

Agree Geist. I do wonder if this is genuinely how it’s intended to work. T10 can’t seriously have been expecting people to log in thousands of times this month to get all the rare cars to pop up. It doesn’t even encourage people to actually play the game as the only way to generate a new selection is to restart or buy them (and most people can’t afford to keep buying expensive cars).

I can see they wouldn’t want the exclusives to be that easy to obtain, to encourage people to log in more to get them, but the balance appears way off presently. Will be interesting to see if there are changes over the month.

It does look like what's already been said, their spawn chance has to be equal/close to what they are in wheelspins.

I didn't restart as much as geist or Jezza but I had a worse result than them last night, it seemed to mess with my game, on probably around my 15th attempt I couldn't even go past the start screen here on my main profile, tried an alt and it loaded the intro just fine, then went back to this and still nothing, so had to re-install the game overnight to get it sorted.

There's definitely people exploiting it already too, like the F8 Tributo is 20 million on the AH regardless of who's selling it, but there's one person selling 8 of them currently.

I know it's cynical again but it's hard not to think they changed the max buyouts on the AH purely to railroad us towards that aftermarket dealership, so that players couldn't simply and quickly bypass it by paying the much lower old prices for the exclusives, pre-update the Aventador could only be sold for a few hundred thousand at most as I landed a couple of dupes and sold them on the AH myself, now the cheapest one I see is 9 million, with most being at the top 20 million.

F8 Tributo is 20 million on the AH
what really bothers me is, i could have taken the 40 million I wasted and simply bought 2 of the cars I'm missing at auction, but I have a thing about being the original owner and acquiring it through actual gameplay.

but they took away an actual gameplay option (wheelspin farming) and replaced it with this absolute dumpster fire feature. they would really rather have people spamming reset than doing eventlabs for skill points? are they high or asleep or what?

Yes, I really don't know what went on in their minds when they came up with this. They publicised that these cars would be available, giving people an expectation they'd be able to buy them. But then it turns out the only way to do that is to restart the game a huge amount of times. I just don't see what the devs gain from people doing that rather than afk farming credits and wheelspins, I actually always thought the ability to make good progress afk in past Forza games was one of those things where they don't explicitly encourage it, but were happy for people to do it to boost their game pass revenue and the game's player count. But now it seems they really really don't want those player hours, what they want instead is to boost the stats on the number of times players have run the game up, but why? I just don't see what they gain from this, unless number of times people run the game up is a metric that drives income for the devs via some route?

The better option would have been the old Forzathon shop or even adding some of these exclusives into the 40pt or series points playlist. They could have even added one where the Mazda Cosmo is sitting.

What would have been clever is if the added them without this fixed rotation (i.e. they stayed there for the whole season) and they had been downgraded or something like that where they were being sold at a discount - or like someone else said they were at another location you had to find.

We know these cars will appear eventually but the the whole thing is a farce tbh along with the price cap increase on the AH and like Geist said removing the skill point eventlabs (I used the same one 21 secs for 10 skills points) - capping those at 1 skill point was just a total overreaction.

Don't forget changing the price of the 22B as well Brusk, I get what the guy early on in this thread was saying to me but if you do the maths it only takes 334,449 players who just have the base game (which sounds a lot but isn't considering the total players the game likely has) to also go 'Ah it's only £2.99 so what, I'll buy the Fursty for much cheaper super wheelspin farming' and voila PG have raked in just over £1,000,000 for what going into the 22B's code and doing a few backspaces + typing 6 digits?

Italian Exotics Dealership: "Find bargains and rare Wheelspin exclusive cars for sale here."

As I was curious and had nothing better to do, I wasted two and a half hours of my lifetime and started and re-started the game exactly 100 times. As expected, the cars in the three spots rotated with each restart. The results:

100 tries - 300 cars - 1 (one!) Wheelspin exclusive

It was in the 65th try, a Ferrari 599XX Evolution with a 15% discount (2,72 Mio. instead of 3,2 Mio.).

Thanks for nothing. Totally worthless event. Totally useless devs.

I thought they might have rotated them,a bit like the Legends dealer in GT7.If you miss it its guaranteed to cycle around in a set period of time.Thats mildly annoying in GT7 if you want a specific car and missed it but you will get it at a later date. They could do something similair with the wheelspin exclusive cars or previous reward. My personal gripe with those cars available through spins is no matter how many spins you have,1 or 100 spins, you are not guaranteed a specific car.I got lucky with a few good cars but also a lot of crap, like horns, hats etc.
Its early days yet,the games only been out a couple of months so who knows.

My personal gripe with those cars available through spins is no matter how many spins you have,1 or 100 spins, you are not guaranteed a specific car.
For the non-legendary wheelspin exclusives, the game very strongly favours giving you the ones you don't have if you own all other non-legendary cars that can be obtained via wheelspins. So if you have every non-legendary autoshow car, you should very quickly get the non-legendary wheelspin exclusives from wheelspins.

For legendaries it's a bit different. The game has a certain % chance of giving you a legendary from a wheelspin, and when you get a legendary from a wheelspin it will almost always be one you don't already own (I have only had one instance in FH6 of getting a legendary I already owned when there were legendaries I didn't own). However, it doesn't appear to have any preference for giving you wheelspin exclusive legendaries vs autoshow legendaries, so the only way to get the wheelspin exclusive legendaries faster is to buy all the autoshow legendaries. But as there are quite a lot of wheelspin exclusive legendaries, even if you own every other car in the game, there's no getting away from needing a lot of wheelspins to get them. E.g. suppose you have every car in the game except 5 wheelspin exclusive legendaries, and the game has a 2% chance of giving you a legendary from a wheelspin. You're going to need approx 250 wheelspins to get those 5 cars you need.

The other problem is the lack of clarity. I’ve yet to see anyone say they’ve got two exclusives so far. Plausibly T10 could have put in place a process whereby no one can get 2 within a 24 hour period for example.

Thats pretty interesting.Regarding the spins themselves,in your opinion is it better to let the spin finish or click skip?Or does it not really matter.?

I don't think it matters, I personally think what you're going to get is already decided as soon as you initiate the spin, and the spin itself is nothing more than just a fancy animation leading to it.

I don't think it makes any difference. On PC there's a mod that eliminates the animation so it just instantly shows the result, so I think the result is determined at the start.

Hopefully the advertised wheelspins Italians will get more common at the dealership. There's just a couple of days gone from the series so all there is left is hope they will get more common.

I've been watching the intersection takeover there yesterday and today, like Geist filling in promo cars occasionally. It wasn't much but I leveled up once, collected the reward which was a SWS...

So grateful for the Clio and CR to buy rims for it!

One Italian down, Sesto remaining elusive.

My experience with the Italian Exotics dealership hasn't been anything special. A slight discount from the autoshow cars thus far.

I'm just gonna let the chips fall where they may. If the wheelspin exclusives appear, cool. If not, oh well. There's other things in the game I'd rather spend my free time on than waste it on a roll of the dice.

what you're going to get is already decided as soon as you initiate the spin,
in FH4 I did some testing, and only the category was predetermined... meaning if you rolled a legendary car, didn't collect it, restarted the game and rolled the same wheelspin, you would get another legendary car though not always the same one. this was a good way to get cars you didn't have.

they may have fixed this to 100% predetermined at this point. also i don't think skipping the animation has any effect, other than preserving your sanity.

here's a good example of the current state of FH6... I can't get a wheelspin car at the exotics dealership despite 5 hours of trying, but I get the 80 point unreleased Lambo on a random auction house search 🤷🏻‍♂️

(edit: the only reason I even tried this was I accidentally photographed one at the exotics dealership. go figure.)

You can change the difficulty on the seasonals, not the trial. 👍
Try it out.I started by setting difficulty to tourist, started championship and im in 1st before the first major corner then on my own until the end.Quit, then changed to highly skilled, started race and took longer to get past the ai,still won but more competetive.Same car,Porsche turbo barn find, totally stock.
