same, though I only noticed when it told me I'd hit 670 roads again. The final bit turned out to be about 5 feet outside one of the houses

Yep, I was actually checking houses and drove out of one when it said 670 roads or I'd never have known
 
All this FOMO stuff would have sent me into a rage before. Now, not at all. If at some point I collect the exclusive cars, awesome. If not, hakuna matata.

You can change the difficulty on the seasonals,not the trial. 👍
Try it out.I started by setting difficulty to tourist,started championship and im in 1st before the first major corner then on my own until the end.Quit,then changed to highly skilled,started race and took longer to get past the ai,still won but more competetive.Same car,Porsche turbo barn find,totally stock.

Since the update? I'm aware the seasonal championships use our own settings and it's possible I forgot to check. I thought I did though. I won't be able to check until tomorrow.

I could swear that the difficulty is noticeably lower than the Expert minimum difficulty that I usually play on during custom races, although I’m also convinced that Street Races are significantly easier than Road Races. The AI in this game are pretty wonky and inconsistent though, maybe they just have crap tunes for the festival championship races? I guess anything is possible with this game…

So far I have managed to buy cars from a crazy Italian that I didn't want at first. (My wish list was a Ferrari F8 Tributo 🎰 a Ferrari 288 GTO 🎰 and the magical Lamborghini Sesto Elemento 🎰) unfortunately as we know, these cars are not. 😭

But I have bought a Ferrari Enzo and a Ferrari 512 S on sale, which is an amazing car. 🇮🇹😍

I went back to the Road championship to test the difficulty level of the drivatars. For the testing process I first cleared any current championship. Then I set difficulty and after initiated the seasonal championship. I repeated this for each difficulty level.

Using a Lamborghini Ultimae, here are my results for the first sprint.

Tourist - Start position 8th, in 1st place at 8 percent
New racer- Start 8th, 1st at 7 percent
Novice - Start 8th, 1st at 3 percent
Average - Start 8th, 1st at 8 percent
Above average - Start 8th, 1st at 5 percent
Highly skilled - Start 8th, 1st at 6 percent
Expert - Start 8th, 1st at 6 percent
Pro - Start 8th, 1st at 6 percent
Unbeatable - Start 8th, 1st at 6 percent

It's clear the seasonal championships difficulty has reverted back to the FH5 format. It's disappointing after seeing so many complaints about 5 and having it changed for 6.
