seasonal races with damage???

The seasonal events 3 and 4 are so much easier than 1 and 2, so maybe as they are so much easier now they should put damage on,

lets admit it events 1 and 2 where a lot of fun getting gold after so many attemps.....

I think with the seasonal events now, PD should let us tune the cars to a set HP limit (at least give an allowance for an oil change) but our tyres should be limited so in some races at least some element of skill is required to drive the cars.

Damage I'm not bothered about & tbh I see no point as you can just restart and go again, so it wont make that big a difference.

true, just need something to make them harder to get gold, like 1 and 2, you actually had to think and change some settings.

Thats the whole point of GT5 for me. I couldn`t complete every race and event with gold so far, but thats ok for me and it was alot of fun to achieve it.

I struggled to get gold at some bonus #1 #2 races too, but it was alot more fun to fight for every place within a set perimeter.

I did all #4 bonus races yesterday on gold with my first attempt. It wasn`t satisfying at all.

I fully agree here. Somehow, PD has lost the conviction that it needs to challenge gamers and that really makes things like the Seasonal Events and buying million credit cars unsatisfying.

This is odd given the supposed "Japanese style" of the company. If PD was truly making "Japanese games" it would be making GT5 just challenging enough to require practice and repetition to beat each level a la Mario. Not impossible but Demon's Souls, but challenging. Instead, we're left with something very Western... more like Assassins Creed 2 in the challenge level. Lots of grinding, but plenty of easy quests.
