Bring back world seasonal like in the original GT. US vs Europe, Europe vs Japan, Japan vs US. Limit pp to 550, use daytona road, fuji, the ring. Add one race at eifel and one at toscano. Could be interesting.:)

One where the prizes are suits not helmets, for the super gt and ferarri ones I tried going over them again but I just keep getting helmets after having a mix of the 2 the first time round..

More endurance- 2-4hrs, or 1000km, or 10hrs/1000mi
LMP/Group C races
Races where the ai uses modified cars, so I can use my tuned cars and still have a good race :)

Event Creator!!! If I want to race SuperGT's on the Ring, LMP's on Autumn Ring, or NASCARS on Eiger, let me do it! That would be the last seasonal that I would ever need. And get paid for it. 👍

Rally races on Eiger Nordwand and Chamonix
GT300
Touring car races for the Integra, Atenza, 320i etc.
FGT vs Ferrari F1s

More Race carevents, like the super GT. There's really no sense in not having alot more of these events.

I didn't buy this game to drive a fiat 500 around the Nurb.

How about turning it on its head and having a seasonal where you have the usual PP/category restrictions but the AI are allowed faster machinery and they have to chase you down? Could be interesting if it's set at the Expert level.

Instead of releasing lower level tickets, they could put standards that they upgrade to premium as a prize (if they ever do it). 👍.

I had that idea in my head for quite some time. PD is a bit to the "surprise" kind of thing, so It would be great if they did something like that. Perhaps not just standard-to-premium cars, but some cars that weren't even available in the game prior, while both being at their intended Seasonals, e.g. a premium Ferrari 250 GTO in the Historic Cup Seasonal the OP suggested.

In addition to that, I would like to see the Seasonals everyone else suggested. But I also hope PD gives out more stricter restrictions, like these:
- Disabling Power Limiter/Ballast
- Requiring to buy something, e.g. tuning parts
- Requiring to restrict Power Limiter/Ballast
- Disabling any tuning parts, even suspension, LSD, and Brake Bias tuning
- Capping tire level
- More car spec restrictions, like torque, power-to-weight, etc.

Possibly more. Finally, I like to see these kinds of Seasonals:
- Multi-class Seasonals, e.g. LMPs and GTs (you choose which class)
- "Stamina Seasonals", in which you drive in a very slow, bone stock car, like the Fiat 500, across several laps or a lap on a high-distance track, e.g. 1 lap on Nordschleife.
- "Chaser Seasonals", in which an AI car in a quick car gets a large headstart and you have to overtake the AI in b minutes or b laps inside a set, but slower car. It can also be identical cars, but the AI gets a headstart. Can be several AIs, too.
- "No Stinting Seasonals": Similar to time trials, but instead, you'll be on a track that has a large amount of laps, e.g. 2 laps on Nordschleife, and your goal is to achieve the shortest total race time possible. And since has time trial similarities, it is very restricted.
- "Extreme Seasonals": Similar to Expert Seasonals, but the car cannot be tuned in any way, while the AI has a bit faster cars, but isn't tuned, also.
- "Tuning King Seasonals" (Not sure): Similar to Time trials, but you're locked on a car that requires heavy suspension/LSD/brake bias tuning. Your goal is to configure them and try to achieve a good time on the track.
- "Loophole Seasonals": You're locked in a set car with other AI drivers with the same car as you, but with suspension/LSD/brake bias tuning. So your goal is to do the same to yours to match it with the AIs or tune it better.
- "Karting Challenges": Similar to the Karting Experience on Special Events, but you're placed on tracks w/ many laps or many miles/kilometers, like a lap on Nordschleife.
- "RM Challenges": You're locked in a RM-capable car, e.g. Lexus ISF, while the AI has the same car, as well. The goal is obvious -- get to podium or pole.
- "Shuffle Challenges": Inspired by the online Shuffle option, you're forced to go through a shuffle in various cars, while meeting set factors and parameters. The AI also goes through the same thing, so there's no way of knowing what car the AI will get in the end.
- "Wet Racing Challenges": You have to drive on a wet track, either raining or not. Restrictions and parameters is PD's discretion.

I would love to see a historic car seasonal as well as an OCD packed with half price gt40's, p3's, and jag's.

I'd like to see a seasonal event in which you have to drive the sls amg (safety car)in a rainy track after a major accident, with f1 cars behind you.
I think it should be harder than it looks on tv,because the sls goes as fast as Bernd Mayländer can,you can not have an accident and you have to be fast enough, because the f1 cars suffer from engine overheating and lose tyre temperature.
Several laps, radio orders and of course no crashes behind you because of your driving
I'd like to drive this challenge

The easy answer for this is ANY new content, but as time passes I'm becoming more and more apathetic towards the whole idea of them.

Lets be honest, given the previous seasonals what's the best we're going to get?

I'd say it would another 'expert type' event which will be challenging enough for a couple of goes, but easily overcome within an hour leaving us waiting for yet more new content to avoid dull grinding.

So that's the best. What's more likely is that we'll get another five, 3 lap (5 laps on tsubaka) event which is easily completed (even in an underpowered car), and we'll be left feeling that it was all a waste of our time waiting.

So then what?

Maybe we can go back to grinding, but if you've already got all the main cars you want there is little real point.

Maybe we could do the 24hour a-spec races, but we take one look at them, and the rewards they offer, and quickly conclude that they really aren't worth the effort or the electricity bill.

Maybe we play online, but we soon discover that the servers are so unstable we keep getting disconnected (even through we have high speed broadband and no issues on any other game), or we find that the lobbies are full of xenophobic children who have little concept of racing etiquette.

So then what? We have a game that's 98% complete and players who aren't crazy enough to waste their lives doing the last two percent. We have a game with an online mode that is so unstable (with too much lobby control given to hosts) that it's too annoying to use. And we have a game with so much inconsistent (PvS cars and tracks), yet repetitive (removing a stripe or changing the colour doesn't make it a new ****ing car) content that the reality of the game is so far removed from what was originally implied that the player is left feeling somewhat cheated by PD.

So given all these flaws we're left playing other games. Games which are more challenging and have a longer life span. But out of our long developed affection for the GT series since the original release, we keep returning to GT5 and its fan forums week after week in the hope of an announcement that promises to give us the game that GT5 was always advertised a being, but has so far fallen far short of.

So in short: a rally one would be a nice change.

I would like a top gear seasonal where they release the stig suit.

yeah, i did for a while but now i can't be bothered. Shall push on with F1-2010 till PD give us some new content or update. The more I play F1-2010 the more I'm starting to think its a better game. At least i've booked a week off in october to buy and complete LA Noire.

Ford Seasonal. 'Nuff said.

An X2010 Seasonal. You have to be fairly consistent to win, but the prize is mountains of exp.

2 laps of nurburgring nordschileife, prize of 792,000 credits and a racing suit

didnt get any of these check your game and new seasonal event thread

LA Noire is def worth it...already got platinum on that one! :)

Ot: New seasonals, time and drift trials are up now!

my wishlist is more damn karting events..

Mine would be more "expert seasonals" type updates.

I don't really look forward to new Seasonal Events anymore as they're becoming (or in fact already were almost from the start) quite unoriginal and basically an extension of A-spec often copying the same events with some new tracks and increased prize money (and recently prizes) which is a real shame as creating these online events could be used to create things not seen in A-spec.

Use tracks not (or hardly) used in A-spec (SSR7, Eiger K-Trail, Top Gear Track, etc.), cars for which A-spec currently doesn't really cater for (Kübel/Schwimmwagen, Tank Car, Daihatsu Midget, SUV's, etc.).
You know, create unique events which would surprise people instead of offering something already experienced before, the content is there, it just needs to be used in an original and more fun way.
But since the temporarily nature of the first Seasonal Events has been replaced by permanent events it may already be too late for that I guess.

So if I had to choose which type of events should be included in a new future (and permanent) Seasonal I'd first have to say Rally as it currently is almost nowhere to be found apart from the Special Events (which only pay out once) and with the big deal being made of obtaining the WRC license this seems rather strange to me.
Offer 5 events, one on Eiger, Tuscany, Chamonix and perhaps 2 Course Creator ones (one gravel and one a road section) which can be repeated over and over again.

Secondly, well anything really which isn't already in A-spec (coming back to my first point) regarding cars and track, call it the "Oddbal Event" or "Wallflower Parade" for all I care, just do something out of the ordinary for crying out loud.

*Waiting to enter next Seasonal Event for a mindnumbing "A-spec deja vu" and quick way to earn a lot of cash*

PD is becoming Hollywood throwing retreaded material at us, would love an original idea from either.

The seasonals I like most are ones like the latest world compact car seasonal. Ones that encourage me to try out cars in my garage I've never driven (because they were otherwise noncompetitive), but also give a decent reward, so that I don't feel like I'm wasting my time doing them. This way I can do them over and over, but also drive a wide variety of cars that give both a challenge and a fair chance of winning and this way I don't feel like I'm grinding, as it's more about driving each different car.

Otherwise I have more fun in practice mode driving whatever car I fancy, on whatever track I want.
