The seasonals I like most are ones like the latest world compact car seasonal. Ones that encourage me to try out cars in my garage I've never driven (because they were otherwise noncompetitive), but also give a decent reward, so that I don't feel like I'm wasting my time doing them. This way I can do them over and over, but also drive a wide variety of cars that give both a challenge and a fair chance of winning and this way I don't feel like I'm grinding, as it's more about driving each different car.

Otherwise I have more fun in practice mode driving whatever car I fancy, on whatever track I want.

I agree with this. The 450PP less than 4200mm made me dig through my garage, I've tried about 10 to 15 different cars. The Alpine A110 1600S is a blast on Cape Ring.

My biggest gripe with the Seasonals is that you can only do one race, when you exit you go straight back to My GT Homepage. I'd prefer it go back to the race selection screen so I can choose another race in the series or another seasonal all together.

Wishlist of seasonals. I currently wish most for a Historic Racing Car Cup Seasonals, kinda like the ones in the A and B spec. Reason is that it's so hard to get only those cars to race against at arcade mode, always comes Super GT and other crap what doesn't fit there. You can't ever photoshoot them, except at the A- and B-spec events.

I'm also wishing for Rally and LMP seasonals.


I want Rally because it has not been used much, although PD promised it to be included in to the game, it was but without really using it.

Le Mans seasonals would be cool because then you could earn money driving those cars without you have to go and race long endurance races.

I agree with this. I was never really into seasonals until recently, so the past couple weeks, I've been going through all the older seasonals that I never tried before. For the most part I've been running each race once, but with the time it takes to exit out and load the next race, I feel like I'm waiting more than I'm racing.
 
It seems PD are adding on to championships that were already in the game, and rightly so. I mean, Super GT got 3 races in A-Spec, 3:grumpy:👎

But anyway, I feel Gran Turismo All Stars, Like the Wind, Historic Racing Cars, or even Formula Gran Turismo Championships are just around the corner, and they are my greatest wishes. Another one I would like to see though is the Real Circuit Tours from GT4, I loved doing the 'Ring, Sarthe and Suzuka in the same Championship:):)

Also if they do this, fill the OCD with Group C/LMP Cars, please. What was the real point of those rally cars the other week, unless you were a collector?:confused: Or maybe it is Rally Seasonals just around the corner...💡💡

Yeah, I don't think we've ever had weather in a seasonal... woul make an interesting change of pace.

I'd just love at least one where we can use our best racers and not have to limit the power. Something like the Expert Level GT All Stars with better AI would be great. Just once, please??

And any Expert event would be welcome (even though I still haven't got gold on the last one!!!)
 
Maybe a seasonal with a minimum and a maximum PP level. But the level also applies to the AI cars.
 
I like the ones where you are forced to pick from a very small selection of cars that you probably never drove that much, and even better on a track that is an odd selection for that car. Like Fiat on Daytona.

Or ancient car seasonal, only cars before 1960. Finally get a chance to use them without insanely overmodding.

I am starting to wonder that PD has turned it's jacket. I think they said that "Seasonal events are going to have events that really were not in the game"
Now we got these NR-A roadster cup... There already was a 4 hour endurance on Tsukuba, and even a series for them at A and B spec. And I believe no one wished at anywhere in the world to PD for make those. (If I remember correct, even the new NR-A seasonals include Tsukuba?)
 
Seasonals not as they are now. But proper races e.g. pp400 to pp410, FR cars, Europe cars. OR pp550 to pp560, any sports cars. OR pp600 to pp610 LMP cars. As 5 track championships, with 10 laps per race, that included 1 definite pit stops. and with 16 cars, like in arcade racing.
 
Oh..., and with a standing start ! Please.
The starting routine bores me, i'd play more GT5 if it would use a different starting procedure for a change. The historical and rally requests still count naturally.

I agree. If I remember only the Ferrari F1 races had some standing starts. In fact, standing starts are barely used in ANY races:grumpy:

Please PD...

Would like some closely matched endurance races. Just some 1-4 hour races with the PP and tyres the same as the AI so there is close racing all the way through.

A Spoon Special would be cool!

Also, A heavy GT endurance cruise with no tuning allowed so the ride is soft!

Finally, can we have some championship seasonals. Not just single races

I wish that the seasonals had no absurd tracks like the "Madrid Reverse" of the German Touring. There is a point where the entrance/exit to the pits is faced dead head on. It is not much realistic is it? I mean who would thing of a track mostly for killing racers on points like that?

Agree. And DTM series should be on real tracks like Nürburgring and SPA (Still wishing for it), not on street courses.
 
I'd like to have a championship, for once.
Long race (10-15 laps maybe) And not just five race alone, maybe ten together, like gt4. Or we have the mid save only for the fgt one? lol
As a restriction i'd like to have something like the difficulty level of the expert seasonals.
And maybe, to make everything more cool, a prize car..a special version of a premium car already in the game..with just some stripes or a livery, stuff like that. With different combinations of color, like the suits.

A seasonal like that..you can really call it event, right?

How about using gt4 events. Like nissan only events or corvette challenge.
 
Also those old Bonus Race Seasonals kicked ass.
 
How about a seasonal that has 5 races, all of them around the ring in a specific car and you have to beat the real world's time.
 
I am currently satisfied for the new seasonals, but I think that because A-spec is becoming useless, it would be good that you would get more XP from A-Spec and more money from seasonals.
 
Ideas always will be around there... what i would like to see is cars as prizes at the end of a sazional event.
 
I would like to have a seasonal just for the LMPs and/or Group C race cars, preferably with at least 10 or 15 laps per race, and NOT on street circuits.

This may be a silly idea, but why not make an X2010-only race (NOT A TIME TRIAL)?

They'll probably put in the gears for Vettel, Loeb and Stig eventually, so here's how I think the seasonals for them should run...

Top Gear seasonal:
Laguna Seca Raceway - Honda NSX Type R '02 - 5 laps (inspired by GT4 vs real life clip) Prize: Ticket with random car w 1:25-1:30 lap time IRL on TG
Nurburgring Nordschleife - Jaguar XFR - 1 lap (inspired by <10:00 Nurb challenge clip) Prize: As previously but 1:20-1:25
Cote d'Azur - Fiat 500 (tuned to Abarth specs, similar to SLS from AMG Academy) - 5 laps (inspired by hot hatch comparo clip) Prize: As previously but 1:15-1:20
Top Gear Test Track - McLaren MP412C - 10 laps Prize: Stig suit
