What neon_duke means is that there is no amount of laps that need to be completed in the Rome Endurance Race. There is a time limit instead, and once you have raced for that long, the race ends after you cross the start/finish line after you complete that lap.

Thanks for clarifying that! As I recall, it will be somewhere around 74 laps.

Damn... Forget my own head if it wasn't screwed on... *thunk, thunk, thunk... rollllllll*

I was going to say, Rome 2 hours is open to any car. Trial Mountain 2 hours is open to non-modified cars only (tyres allowed). Typically Trial Mountain ends up in the mid 70s, Rome usually in the mid 80s of laps.

Racing-Line records for Trial Mountain 2 hr - see if you recognise anyone... :D

why bother doing it in a f1 and doing more laps, while u can do it in a evenly matched car or slower, have close race and drive for same amoutnt of time

Soft rears, hard fronts. When refering to tires of course. Get T2's in front and T4's in rear. It will be a little expensive to do this, but once you get first (which you will with the help of extremely good tire wear) place in Seattle. Pit every 14 laps, and push it. The cobra pits about every 3-4th lap, but you have to really push the limits of the car, but 14 laps between pit-stops shouldn't be that hard :trouble:

Modest... maybe not. Knackered, certainly... 3 of those I've done in the last 3 weeks (including, ahem, the outright record... :D). Got to go back and do the RGT though... Only a minute or so out...
