Senna content coming soon?

About the content, I doubt PD will add any track in the update. No Interlagos, no any other track. It would be a miracle if they did, since GT5 never had free track DLC.

They did talk about monthly track DLC, though. So maybe we might get a track with the senna content. I doubt it but I wouldn't rule it out completely.

I'm guessing Interlagos.
That is the logical guess. There aren't really any others that would fit the Senna bill without being in completely bad taste.

Whilst some of us are trying to discuss the topic, others are doing the typical PD flame rain dance.

I wonder if we'll get a base 97t?
Hmmm... not likely. Always a possibility, though.

Guess everyone's going on about Interlagos because the real-life version is actually featured in the game's intro movie.
Mostly this. It's like the strongest hint you could ever get.

We should get Estoril, Hockenheim and Imola eventually, in fact, a while slew of fast tracks good for open wheeled racing. We don't have that many real world courses in Gran Turismo just yet, and Cote D'Azur (Monaco) is a little cramped, though in a good way. We need some more courses with wide open sections we can fly around on, like Spa and Le Mans.

I want those racing events too. I guess watching the Senna videos over the past couple of days, taking his breakneck chances, has juiced me up for a little bit of Formula 1 style racing. Just a bit. ;) This will require at least one more car, and I'd be fine with the Formula GT being included in events, properly performance matched to the field. And of course as I mentioned, a bot A.I. tweak. I know this causes an avalanche of rolleyes around here, but if the only events are with people online, all I would be is an obstacle, and I'd just as soon go back to my I-A races. I think PD are going to do this.

Hmm I'm not that enthusiastic about this whole 'Senna content' thing. We probably get the 97T which of course is a very special car, and maybe we get a new circuit or another car which would be great. But GT6 already brought us a load of other special cars and tracks which proved not much lasting entertainment value for me personally (and reading here on forums for a lot of other people too). I know Senna is important to many people but I don't see how this makes the game much better gameplay wise.

Me either.

I'm going to laugh when they put in something stupid that no one wants and then overprices it.

Maybe PD were late with all the updates because they focused on Senna's content?

Think about it for a second, Senna's content cannot miss the deadline, it has to be in May.
How do you even know that's what's supposedly coming at all?

That just saids PD are too slow and need to outsource their staff.
Indeed Toko :)

But what can we do...Senna's content is the most exciting out of all the announced content so far (in my opinion).

@Slash I don't, if they miss the deadline, it will be a massive fail.

Oh btw,
Except Kaz never was or is a community manager. PD as a whole does not have a community manager at all, only Kaz and various Sony people telling us things.
Which was exactly my points. The only source of information is Kaz, and that only happens at special events or interviews. In the meantime, we hear nothing. PD needs a community manager.

Which btw, if you're listening, PD, I'm available. :sly:

I don't know if someone already posted this but I'll post it anyways:

Seems like they are going to do 2 extra presentations on the 12th and 19th of may, my guess is that the extra content will be anounced those days. I don't know if the extra presentations are going to be additions to the documentary or just anouncements for the extra content, the page only shows the dates. Page is here.
