It's sad to see what Gran Turismo has done to you

But in all seriousness, they've said that this content will be arriving within the next three weeks and they've shown us two of the four things they're announced thus far.

When GT6 was being released did you only believe the additions to the car list existed once you loaded up the game and looked in the dealership?
I'm Mr. Positive in the GT6 forums, and I have faith in PD, but you can't go round expecting everything to be rosy and perfect. To say it's definitely modeled because a man somewhere said an update will have it isn't very logical.

What about when it's announced just three weeks at most before it is due to be released, and when two of the four components of the update have already been shown to you?

Good point, but how about the fact the fact that this was announced with the release of the game, as a joint collaboration with an independent institute? And given the work they've already done for the project in the form of the 20 minute Senna Institute video and slide show of Ayrton Senna's early careeer?

It takes about a year to make a circuit so yes, they are modeled.
No, but you don't know if they are. You can't guarantee that they're finished now, sitting quietly, waiting for the right time. I'd say PD are still in the process of making them.

That Brazilian site claims 27th June as the else date.

Does no one else see that?

He raced there.
Ok.

So according to your query we should have(roughly):
Jacarepaguá Circuit
Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit
Imola(kinda sad in a way)
Paul Ricard
Detroit Street Circuit
Adelaide
Fair Park(Dallas GP)
Old Silverstone
Old Hockenheim
Zandvoort
Old Nurburgring GP
Old Estoril
Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
Phoenix
Okayama International Circuit

Bit of a big list for PD to include isn't it.

They have a schedule. If they officially announced these two circuits, they are ready

The least consistent one in history. Nobody, no matter the circumstances, can say with a complete certainty they're modeled.

But given the evidence to suggest that they have been modelled, it takes considerable caution/skepticism to think that they haven't been.

Sorry but Zahara has obviously been modelled, and we still have yet to see that.

Same with all the other tracks that PD tease us with. Seattle? Nope. That-other-one-which-the-name-escapes-me (the one from GT4)? Nada.

We haven't even seen anything and people are claiming that these tracks are ready to go in a matter of days. Given PD's track record I strongly doubt it.

I don't get PD's thinking, if everything is ready why not release it now and if there is more unannounced stuff what is the reason behind it ?

Hype-building basically.

Get people excited/impatient, reveal more and more content, and repeat, and repeat, then release it.

Well if they told us everything now it will still build hype(for whoever still plays GT6 anyway). So far the whole DLC is kind of Meh.

They are basically the same track, how hard can it be to edit some sections of an already existing track?

Yes. I stated it would be an excellent track. It is Canadian, and there has never been a Canadian track in Gran Turismo... The first one, the flood gates might open.
I think it's probably wrong. Gran Turismo media coverage here in Brazil is bad.

I'm hoping is not June. I'm glad I didn't make a mistake translating (note: in my head) Brazilian Portuguese to Spanish so I could understand correctly

Zahara, Seattle, aren't official.

Brand Hatch GP '80, Monza '80 are officiel, news on official site.

Communication content Senna is perfect.... No reason to be pessimistic

So far each time portions of the tribute site were unlocked, details on the content was announced. It's more than reasonable to expect another announcement of content at the next gallery unlock. It's all speculation from there for me, I'm interested, but not very knowledgeable on F1, let alone Senna.

Interlagos makes sense, considering the karting variant is supposed to be there, and Kaz tweeted about his experience at the full venue. There's potential for more of his cars, and probably more classic track variants as well.

As for the whole time change thing, I think it's more important that weather cycles are included, as rain racing was major characteristic of Senna's skill. I don't think he's all that famous for his night racing... Time change is welcome but not necessary for this content.

Just remember that they (PD) own official rights until 1986. So we will probably not see cars that Senna raced after that year. I'm not sure if this rule apply to the tracks as well.

GTP is in no way an official site, and has never been advertised as one. There were both similar articles with Zahara and Seattle, so you cannot distinguish between these news extracts.

We're not being pessimistic, we're being realistic and measured. If you don't have any proof of it being modeled (and a good feeling/idea is almost certainly never proof), then you cannot claim they are.

I think he means

on tracks like the Brands Hatch GP circuit and the Italian circuit of Monza, which have been given a complete makeover in order to restore their original layouts from the '80s.

Which is on the official site here http://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/news/00_4571804.html

are you aware we have already been handed the FT-1, VGT, VGT Race Car, some of the 2013 Nascars and the 2014 Redbull cars/ go karts? why should this be different? This is the update i've been waiting for and probably what other people have been waiting for.
You know that DLC means DownLoadable Content, not necessarily Downloadable Paid Content.
One of the biggest brazilian media conglomerates has written the following article (in Portuguese)

http://jogos.uol.com.br/ultimas-not...-carros-e-desafios-de-ayrton-senna-em-275.htm

It states that the update would be released on May 27th, but they don't list what were their sources. Hopefully we'll see more stuff being added on the 19th.

Actually it says '27 de Junho' which means June 27th, not May.
