I knew it would be TTGT. As soon as I saw DC's video where he said a secret track "somewhere in the UK", it was painfully obvious. Of course, everyone else still wanted to speculate and even bet on places like Monza. Oh well, hope everyone is happy with TGTT. I'm sure there will be so many complaints. :yuck:
 
I think from 15h0 to 16h00 GMT It only be available for UK accounts

Me too, but dreaming still for free :)

It had to be TGTT, as some people said here, a new track, to download and train from 15h00 to 15h20, It would jam the servers and I wouldn't they had already a track hidden in the game waiting for this event and the last update was way to small to contain a real world track with all the details. ;)
 
It will be online once DC has set a time to beat....

The people at Brooklands are racing him in real time, we will get a 'ghost' time later on.

How else will you beat his time until he's actually set it! :dopey:

That was a practice lap earlier I believe. The 15min 'real' session kicks off at 15:20 UK time.
 
Gotcha. 3 minutes, I suppose I can wait. :lol:

I messed up my first lap and it invalidated the next lap. But then, ALL subsequent laps have been invalidated. Can't get a white lap at all, gonna quit and re-enter.

Whoops, sorry about that. Whenever PD gets me in a tizzy I may forget my manners. I think they "forgot" Asia as well.

Have this problem as well, have to restart every few laps since I keep getting an invalid lap the second I cross the start/finish line, while I went through the last few corners clean.

Pretty fun event, managed a 1:17,843 already but I'm sure I can do better. Doubt I'll be able to beat David Coulthard's time though.

Edit: Ok, 1:17,131 now. :p That was a really good lap so probably won't get better.

I'm in Canada as well and it's still a no-go here...Btw lets not forget our amigos in Mexico are North Americans too!...:)
 
Best I got was a 1:22 which was my first lap although after watching the leaders ghosts I could probably knock 4 to 5 seconds off that looks like I'm taking the wrong line through turn 1 especially and to an extent Chicago. It is hard because the track isn't clearly marked in terms of area you have to stay in especially through the follow through were I've had many laps invalidated.

Wasn't expecting comfort softs when I practiced.

Bronze only gets you 150,000... What does gold and silver give?
