server disconnect error

under what circumstances do your disconnects occur?

FWIW, I have gotten disconnected a couple of times on crowded servers of 14+people. I think it is because of my crappy internet SP. I have excellent ping but awful DL/UL speeds. in these instances the game would freeze and the screen would go black just after the 30s countdown to start the race hits zero or I would see the message 'disconnected from lobby.' Apparently, the other people in the lobby have no issues when the game would freeze or when I go back because I can hear them talking and racing.

I keep getting disconnects too, Funny its only been happening the past few days and ive no idea why its really starting to scratch my nuts

If anyone knows the solution to this disco problem, it'd be great to hear some input. I too have the disconnect problem, and it's random. I can host a server and get disco'd randomly and can join a server and be kicked off randomly with no sign of lag.

I have 13Mbps download and 2.65Mbps upload.
