server issue

I am not banned online.
However, when I try to join a room: no matter how good the connection or fixed host, as soon as I'm on the track I get disconnected from the server.

Any suggestions?

You don't need to call them.

Just run a cable from your AT&T router to your Playstation.

You can buy cable attach things from Home Depot that will allow you to run the cable along the corner of the ceiling for a very clean look.

Yeah servers went out last night, took dude 5 times to get a room open after the whole room crashed.

Also Mr.Eads get Comcast Xfinity their internet is better.
I pay for 30mbps, last test I got 52mbps with a ping of 5

Edit also I wanted to point out. I dont think running a 50+ foot wire form your router will help improve your internet. It might be better than wifi who knows. The reason I say this is:
Electric Theroys 101.
As the length of a wire increases the overall resistance of the wire increases.
Meaning it will still take the router more effort to send the signal to the PS3.
PS definitions not perfect but you get the point.

I'm moving out in the next month so I had planned getting Comcast.

My internet connection test on the ps3 came back to 10mbps. weak sauce.

At 50 feet a Cat5 ethernet cable will have almost no loss.

It'll blow a wireless connection out of the water.

More importantly, it will be a solid and continuous connection.

It's not a lack of speed that is the problem; 10mbps is more than enough for GT5.

It's the inconsistency of the wireless connection.

I play on a 50 foot Ethernet cable, get the same speeds upstairs as I do downstairs, and I never get dropped from rooms ever.
