Hi just come up on my game server maintenance, Any of you got it yet?

I'm getting that too. Not happy about it. Especially with the new TT and Drift being released.

There is no scheduled maintenance for today. If those mercs are still in the online dealer when it comes back up I'm going to lose my ****.

I always minus a day to what the news section says, PD seem to forget that they are ahead of most of us. I would have thought people would of realized that it is always 1 day early, just look at the previous maintenance dates. This was obvious, for the one that states the 15th of this month, thats guaranteed to be on the 14th.

I was home for lunch and did the first time trial, got my gold and my million credits! As I was looking for a decent car to do the second time trial, it went down for maintenance so I couldn't get back in the seasonal events...
Go figure.. just have to do it tonight I guess.
On the bright side, I wasn't late getting back to work cause I couldn't do the next race!

The only place I've seen the 9th mentioned is right here. GT site has always said 8th. So it's right on schedule.

Grand Valley Speedway hosts the first Time Trial for Japanese cars weighing no less than 1200kg, and Circuito de Madrid Mini hosts the second for front-wheel drive cars weighing no less than 800kg. The Drift Trials are held at the Daytona Road Course and Cote d’Azur. As of writing, though, there are no new Seasonal Events.

Polyphony Digital has also revised the GT5 online service update schedule they originally published last month. The game’s online features will now be unavailable during the following maintenance periods:

September 8, 2011, between 10:00AM and 6:00PM EST (convert to your time zone)
September 15, 2011, between 10:00AM and 6:00PM EST (convert to your time zone)

The news thread has been changed, earlier it said the 9th. It seems they have edited it after realizing the server is down. Look at my previous post it explains all. Keep an eye on the September 15th date, that will more than likely happen on the 14th, as all the maintenance and updates have come a day early

I read 8th last night and knew ahead of time this was going to happen.
Not sure when they updated it, but time zone is always a determining factor, they are in Japan, after all.

I did wonder if they had implemented an auto-ban system for cheats...I had legitimately got inside the top 250 for the Madrid Mini TT, and then decided to see what I could achieve with a bit of wall abuse. Beat my previous time but the server was down so it didn't submit. Had me worried for a bit there!

@jubbyboi617 , you jumped on the back of the OP and posted a link to an article that had the wrong information in it, although it's now been updated. GTP was probably the only source that had the wrong info on it. Don't think even PD would take their servers down on a Friday night...

The article was the 8th when I read it and posted it. Not to mention the previous (which I also linked) thread posted on the opening page of threads making this a double thread. I was under the impression we were trying to discourage double threads as they're unneeded, but if someone has a question, give them an answer. It was also updated on the Sony's site for GT information.

For anyone that wants to continue to talk about my post, I was trying to be helpful, not be a jerk. I wonder why some people must read everything written with the thought process that someone is trying to be an *ss. Had it been a mod or admin saying the same thing, I wonder if we'd be having this conversation. I'd figure we'd be respectful to everyone equally. That'll be enough of that though, thank you for reading my rant. I won't be responding further to this.

The times are always off, it says it should end at about 5 PM EST, yet last time it ended at almost 7 PM. Another hour and my busy trade schedule would've been 🤬
