What is adjustable on the 3 vehicles and what have people been having success with? I can't wait to get some seat time after work today!

Only things adjustable are the driver aids... except for Skid Recovery which is off (thank goodness).

I've been running TCS and ASM off, ABS at 1.
Top 10 in my region are as well.

I just noticed the blue racing line is not an option. I thought it would be available, it was in the other GTAcademy's, but no visual help this time.

I typically keep TCS at 1 or off, but I'm always conflicted about ABS because I'm not sure why it would hurt performance. I suppose anyone familiar with Initial D has heard the term "human ABS", i.e. the ability to control the brake so precisely that you are constantly at the limit of adhesion. Is this level of control really even possible on the virtual track? I usually set ABS anywhere from 0 to 5. I can't help but think that a higher setting will help be brake more efficiently. I'm running a G35 mounted to a Playseat Evo...

i've tried a variety of settings, from TCS 5, ABS 1, steering strong, stability on, all the way to everything OFF, and i've found that the driving aids hamper my ability to turn in and accelerate out more than they help, surprisingly.

Why would the ABS setting effect the cars ability to power out? I completely understand TC, but under a brake off / throttle on situation?

well i was more referring to the other driving aids.

Understood. But is there a valid reason to not have ABS a little higher? Or is it more a prideful aversion to using any sort of driving aids (despite the fact that ABS can be a valuable performance tool on real world cars)? I suppose we need a quantitative test of stopping distances perhaps utilizing the B1, A1, etc license tests with various ABS settings. Even then, can that level of braking precision be implemented through the various corners of GT Academy...?

Well question here, I have tried with ABS off and it is much harder to break effectively. Now I have not practiced with it off but you can get lock ups on rear tires and spin out very easily with these comfort tires IMO.

Does anyone race with abs lower than 1? If so is there a major benefit or are we talking like tenths or hundredths of a second of difference. With practice I could probably do a decent job but I'm so impatient, so is it worth it?

Also I use steering wheel and have it set to simulation and moderate feedback, of 7 or 8.
