Yes, and I doubt it's hard to notice. Anyways, some laptimes I managed to find.
Hockenheim Short Circuit: NSX-R 1:14.600, M3 CSL 1:13.500.
Nürbugring Nordschleife: NSX-R: 8:03.860, M3 CSL: 7.50.000.
Tsukuba Circuit: NSX-R: 1:04.950, M3 CSL: 1:06.880

You are wrong in just one thing :p.

Besides, "real race drivers" doesn't mean they're not ensuring that the Japanese car wins in a Japanese show. And yes, I do think Top Gear is biased. Who doesn't? They're very vocal about it and, in fact, so over the top in their bias that nobody can actually take their reviews seriously. Top Gear is, after all, more of a comedy/entertainment show than anything else.

Thats why i dont like Top Gear.

About Best Motoring you can see the padles most of the time and dont used R tires if they dont mention it ;).

Top Gear enhance the cars they want with racing tires. The only pilots they use are the Stigs and we cant see any car direct comparations driven by pros. The only thing people see is what you and i could do drifting super cars (badly).

Even if that is true, an M3 CSL is still a pure track-breed of a sportscar so I'm still not buying it being 4 seconds a lap slower. And then there is a Gallardo spending laps and laps catching an NSX, only to barely finish ahead of it.
The NSX-R got to the front much sooner than the Gallardo, so it was spending much less time being stuck behind traffic, and thus was able to get a good lead. Not to mention Gan-san is probably the best driver in all of Best Motoring (ahead of Tsuchiya, and Senna too?).
That NSX was supposed to be 4 seconds a lap faster on its best lap then an M3 CSL? :odd:

Meanwhile on the Top Gear test track the NSX-R was more than 3 seconds slower than the M3 CSL, and more than 5 seconds slower than a Gallardo.
The NSX-R did it in the wet while the CSL did it in a damp track. In either case, neither of the car's full potentials could be shown on the Top Gear Test Track, so I'd say this comparison is pointless.
I must the only guy on the planet who never thought NSX' were anything special, if not borderline overrated.
Hardly anyone outside of Japan has driven one. It's faster than a Skyline GT-R and yet people still treat the Skyline as Japan's fastest sports car of that time. If anything, the NSX-R is one of the most underrated supercars ever. I'm quite surprised that anyone thinks the NSX is overrated.

For your information, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale went around the Nurburgring in the same time as the NSX-R, which is slower than the CSL. Aren't you surprised the 360 is faster than the NSX-R as well as the CSL?
Seems like the CSL does pretty well as soon as the car can unwind a wee bit, just like it should on Motegi - which is why I can clearly see the race being predetermined. But foror something that's derived from a family sedan and is competing with a mid-engined sports car, that's a decent showing anyways. In my opinion, of course.
Motegi has a lot more straights than the Nurburgring, so perhaps the CSL and its sticky track tires didn't give it much of an advantage.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: For everyone's entertainment:

Sorry about the double post.

Remove the song and put in just the pure sound of the 911, then this would be even more amazing.
