These threads are usually a good source of inspiration (and I noticed people already sharing their favourites on the general console thread), so I thought I'd start one for Assetto Corsa.

I'll kick things off with the two that surprised me the most:

Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV @ Nordschleife
Ford Mustang 2015 @ Zandvoort

Alfa 155 V6 @ Vallelunga Classic | AI Alien | 9 AI Cars | Mixed
Alfa 155 V6 @ Mugello | AI Alien | 9 AI Cars | Mixed
BMW M3 Group A @ Silverstone | Hotlap

Mclaren F1 GTR at Mugello
Ferrari 312T at Barcelona
BMW M235i Racing at Imola
Lotus 49 at the Ring
Alfa Romeo 4C at Brands Hatch GP
Ford Escort Mk1 at Brands Hatch GP
Lamborghini Countach at Vallelunga
KTM XBow at Magione
Lotus 2-11 at Silverstone
Mercedes SLS AMG at Zandvoort
Maserati 250F, RUF Yellowbird, AC Cobra, Lotus 72D and a few others anywhere

M235i racing or SLS GT3 on the Nordshleife

RUF CTR / Ferrari F40 @ Nordschleife. Light Fog Morning With road tyre and all assist off

F138 @ Imola (PC)

GT3 genre @ NordSchleife - Factory assist and ABS

Did some road Ferraris yesterday, and this one stood out for me:

Ferrari 458 Italia Step 3 @ Spa Francorchamps
The 458 is a really nice car, both road and race versions, but I was surprised how much I disliked the 488. I thought it sounded bad and handled badly. I think there's another version of it in the Red Pack that I hope will be better.

The first time I drove the 458 GT2 I had a huge grin on my face. Been getting that a lot with the cars in this game.

I didn't care much for the 488 GTB as well.

I actually started with the 488 GTB around Spa. Spent an hour driving it until I was comfortable turning the TC OFF and ended up enjoying the experience.
It was only when I switched to the 458 Italia that I understood how much the 488 GTB was lacking.
The 458 Italia was more predictable, more fun, with much more feedback and nervousness. I also like the fact that it is NA and revs more. It left me thinking, "now this was a nice Ferrari experience".

I've still yet to try the Race versions. I'm more of a road car type of guy. But I'll definitely give them a go some day.

Yeah, after finding the road cars in pCARS not fun to drive I'm working my way through them in AC as they're way better. Most of the Ferraris are nice, couldn't drive the F40 at all though lol. Will take the Lambos out next.

I haven't driven the F40 Stage 3 in quite a while, but the regular F40 is one of my favorite cars in Assetto Corsa. It drives pretty much exactly as I would expect. When those turbos kick in...WHOA! I love it!! :D
I found the stage 3 a little more to my tastes but still pretty crazy. Need to spend some time to get to grips with that car for sure.

Just finally cracked Hard race weekend with this combo:

Merc SLS AMG GT3 at Spa

Not had the game long, stuck to GT3 stuff so far, might try some other cars now :)

Started playing AC on PS4 very recently. Still learning tracks that are not in GT6.

BMW M235i on Nurburgring Endurance / Cup
Ferrari 458 GT2 on Monza
Lotus Evora GTC on Imola

That's about it for now
