Is it possible for for my in game friends to get access to, or watch any replays I have saved ,like how they can view my pictures?

I don't think there is any inbuilt mechanism for sharing these other than the ghost replays you can obtain from the time/drift seasonals.

If you want to share a replay with a friend then export the replay from within GT5, then copy using the save game data utility to a usb stick, then send to your friends (the replay, not the stick!). They'll need to replicate the folder structure which is created on your usb stick in order for the PS3 to detect the replay and be able to copy it into your GT5 savedata.

No, and it's a shame.

I've often said this, and will say it again. There are some things FM3 did better and this is one of them. FM3's Storefront was awesome, and every single day I hopped on there to check out the latest additions. You could share more pictures than in GT5, but you could also share replays, custom vinyls, custom liveries, and tuning setups, and several of each (unlike GT5 which lets you share just one solitary Course Maker track). Better still, you could share them with the entire community, and not just your friend list.

Further, you could browse the countless replays/liveries/tunes/et cetera by specific criteria or words. For example, if you wanted a tuning setup for a Ferrari FXX specifically for Road America, you could look for exactly that. If you wanted a replay of crashes at the Nurburgring, you could look for that specifically.

Polyphony really Barkered this.

Have you actually made that work?

I thought you could export it and email/post it for anyone to download and watch on their copy of GT5. Never tried it though.

GT5 and easy replay sharing= Fail double face palm. The reason though is curious. Just because PD doesn't know how, didn't have time, didn't have the resources? Oh that's right PD doesn't actually communicate with us so we will just have to keep making up our own answers.:ouch: again double face palm.
