I need help with my sharkport. When I got to click on it, it says ''Please install USB cable drivers'' or something like that. What driver do I use?

The ones on the disk.

Do you have Windows 98 at the very least? If not, you're boned. Go and buy an OEM version of XP - you don't need the drivers then.

If you're fully Windows 98 (or better)-ed up, you need to pop the Port's PC disc in the CD-ROM drive and instal the drivers.

If you have a Mac, you're boned, screwed and &&%("ed.

This is taken from the sharkport FAQ from the old GS.com

Please follow the instructions below to manually install the SharkPort Drivers.

1. Click START -> SETTINGS -> CONTROL PANEL
2. Double click on "Add New Hardware"
3. When prompted select that you want to "select the Hardware from a list"
4. Select "Other Devices" from the list of hardware and then click Next
5. Click on the Have Disk button
6. Enter the letter for your CD-ROM drive (i.e. D:) under the box to "copy manufacturers files from"
7. Select the "XLink Cable" and Click Next
8. When prompted click "Finish" and the restart your computer

It still ain't workin. "Please install USB cable drivers." I need the Drivers . Then it closes just after it shows me a glimpse of the program. :irked:

Everything is hooked up right, but it says I nedd to instal USB drivers. BTW I have a Hewlett Packard Pavilion, if that helps at all. I've tried the 2 USB ports on the PC and on the PS2.
