Can you paint the standard car's wheels?

There is not such thing so-called "Standard Car", they're all Premium cars (if you must use GT5's concept). Of cause, you can paint the rims (just go to the paint shop and choose whatever color you like). ;)

Considering the game has more road cars than race cars, and considering Ferrari is a more popular/prestige road car company (probably the most) then i'd fail to see how you can argue that.

Personally, I (and many others) prefer Ferrari cars and there have been plenty of Ferrari's in Le Mans series racing (both the 458 and 430 are being raced). Outside of Le mans series races where do you see Porsche racing in these modern days?

Couple of examples

Touring cars? no.
Rallying? no
NASCAR? no
Formula 1? no
Indy Car? no

So i'd say in modern motorsport Ferrari are just as important as Porsche. If you go down to the smaller series races there will be more Porsches being raced, but then also there will be more Mazda mx5's being raced too.

So yeah, personally for me, road cars or race cars i am more of a Ferrari man, which is strange because i'm not a Ferrari F1 fan.

Yes, but porsche has in the past competed in NASCAR, formula 1, rally and indycar, while ferrari has only competed in formula 1 and sports cars. I understand that ferrari is the most famous producer of road-going supercars, but porsche sells many more road-going supercars and has always been more dominant in GT and Sports car racing, which is more directly tied to production performance cars than any other type of racing. how many FFs do you see around with wings that go down for overtaking and front-exiting exhausts?

The Ferrari vs Porsche flame war ends now or those involved will be taking a time out.

Keep the thread on topic.

Has anyone seen Nevada Freight Depot yet in the game?

It seems like it is hidden. At least I cant find the track. Does it have to be unlocked or is it Limited Edition exclusive?
I think it was in Huyura trailer wasn't it.

A question that I don't recall seeing an answer for.

Can anyone with the standard version of the game confirm if the three cars from the LE are in it to buy, or is the only way you can get them by buying the LE.

Need to know as I own an Alfa and would love to drive it in game.

Might not be 100% correct, but I haven't entered in my code yet and I didn't see the Alfa in my car lot, nor the Lambo. I think, in the US at least, that all the current copies are "limited". It seems to be the new thing for EA to have all new copies include an online pass that gives you "extra content", which is just there to keep you from buying used. There are online passes for sale on the PSN for $10.

I also can't seem to find the C6 Z06 either though, so maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. The Chevy dealer only has the GT versions of the C6.

Isn't the MP4-12C already in though. Mind you there is that racing version due soon. Could it be that?

So, the game's just come out and they've already got DLC for it? Shouldn't any content they've created come included with the game, free of charge? I thought DLC was coded and released in the months after a game's debut, for the purposes of expanding on an existing product, and not a way of wringing more money out of the consumer on release day. Guess I'm a bit behind the times.

Unless you have actual proof that all the work is finished, and was finished at the time the discs were being produced these complaints have very little value.
Did they plan to have DLC? Obviously. That doesn't mean they had enough time to finish it and include it in the game though.

On the other hand, it will be a bit lame if the DLC is just a 100kb unlock code for stuff already on the disc.

"Legends DLC Pack Car List

Alfa_Romeo GTA 1600
Austin Mini Cooper
BMW CSL Gr4
Ford Capri RS3100
Ford Escort Mk1
Ford GT40
Jaguar E-type
Lotus Cortina
Nissan 240ZG
Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R
Porsche 911 Carrera RSR
Porsche 914
Shelby Cobra Daytona"

OMG, that 2000 GT-R is making me drool. CAN. NOT. WAIT!

Do want.

As long as it's not extremely expensive I will pick it up. Hopefully it includes the classic Hockenheimring layout that was "leaked"(description was placed on site instead of the current layout) some time ago. Would also love classic Monza.

Classic Monza was definitely in that trailer. And another track I don't recognise but looks old (curbs, trees etc).

I know how you feel. IMO it's complete BS and I for one have decided not to buy any DLC from now on. You pay full price and then in order to have even more content, you have to pay extra.
When I buy a game, whatever is on the disc is what I am willing to pay for. No extra gizmos months and months later (or the same day as release day). That's why I value Kaz's opinion vis-a-vis DLC. He apparently stated that GT5 is complete and what you have paid for is what you get. He's not a fan of DLC, so I hear.

So the fans suffer. DLC is a plus to me regardless of how they go about it. Especially with a car list like those.

And, yes, that was definitely the Super Sport. More importantly did you see that Viper? How fast was that thing going!?

So I'm guessing by the video's that the DLC will add new events as well? It looked like they were saying something about beating them when showing the Scion and Viper.

I don't think it is definitely a Super Sport as the Veyron in the video has the two air intakes above the engine showing like a normal one whereas a Super Sport has a cover over the engine and two triangular style slots for the intakes.
