probably just an update for the new dlc coming.

Didn't they say this update was for some fixes they needed to make.
Exactly what I was thinking... but it does seem better - hopefully not a placebo![]()
Feels like a good update.
The FFB has changed (PS3/G25/Elite/ABS only) for the better. Before, the wheel would go totally loose at the limits with no FFB at all. Now, FFB responds in a more positive way.
It also feels like I can put the car more towards where I want it, but still not as clinically as in GT5.
I've only tried hot lapping so far. Hopefully they did something about the exaggerated crash/damge model too (i.e. slight bump sends your car towards the clouds).
EDIT: I've also noticed the annoying spike in throttle when shifting manually has gone.
I was surprised too when I saw the patch ready when I booted the game. Clearly the patch came direct from EA, and the PS3's connectivityI didn't realise that updates could happen whilst he PSN was down. How does that work? Do the files not come from the PSN?

to the internet is not dependant on the PSN?
Input lag hasn't been fixed. I used my works converted Lambo to test...still swervin' on the high speed straights. Oh well, back to the PC version.
Schumi-01We are still presuming this is a Patch, it might still be for the DLC, if it was a Patch, wouldn't the developer tell us what was fixed?? Or am i being Naive.
