Shifting Gears: H vs Sequential, vs paddle, what's your preference?

I use what the car has, which for me is H pattern 95% of the time. I can shift quicker in a straight line (except for the 1-2 change) than the paddles, but paddles are usually faster for me in a hardcore racing event. Still doesn't make me like them though; I hate THOSE STEWPED FLAPPY PADDLES. /Clarkson

I guess H shifter.

The weird thing is I can drive a manual IRL, but I'm no good in games. Even with the G27(no rig), it just feels unnatural to me.

If the car allows me to use the H-shifter, I always use it, even in tougher races :)
For cars like the SLS or the Ferrari F1s I obviously use the paddles since the don't have clutch support.
Oh, by the way, using the h-shifter doesn't mean you're slow and having fun at the back of the pack, like someone said before. I've won a decent number of challenging online races using the H-shifter, and I'm only a mid-level player.

Paddles for me, the sequential stick is very awkward on the DFGT. One day I will get a legit H-Shifter but after reading some of these impressions I'm having second thoughts.
