planning on getting some data and sending it to kaz on twitter....đź’ˇ

something needs to be done re- prizes, money glitching, paying for in game credit and the way in which the game is clearly doctored towards forcing you to pay for additional credit in game.

We need this to be sorted so the hardcore fans can actually enjoy the racing and so they get the feeling they actually achieved something without grinding for a week to get one car

I would like to see the Expert A-Spec seasonals like GT5 had where you get a prize car for winning the group and get bonus credits for using a low PP car. I really enjoyed those. Had a lot of fun trying to find the weakest car that could win and get the most credits for it :)

Prize cars on the events as in previous GT editions would be cool as well, would also be nice if they were like GT4 where you could reset the event and win the car more than once.

Where is the choice for debit card for those of us without credit cards?

I actually don't really have a problem with the payouts (I don't support micro transactions either) but I would like to see more prize cars instead of only getting rewarded for earning all the stars or half the stars in career mode.

I think that the previous game's payouts spoiled a lot of us in the end. They are fine the way they are now in GT6. Video games shouldn't be all about End Game content. They should be about the journey most of all. Everything else is just the icing on the cake...including the banking of millions of credits after all goals have been completed.

...but if they bring this small detail back I'd be all for it.

Yeah, I'd like to see more prize cars. I enjoyed the different kind of cars awarded when different race series were completed. Disappointed to see that isn't happening with GT6. Gonna take a lot of grinding to purchase 1200 cars. Either that, or some Seasonal Events with some big payouts.

I really think that the economy in GT6 is fine the way it is. If you've ever played games before GT5 you knew how scarce credits actually were and GT6 seems to be the right balance of credits for winning races. More prize cars would be nice though, the cars that they give out at the moment are great and it would be nice to see more bizarre cars handed out.

the game has been out for a week and you expect to have all the 1200 cars and millions of money by now? where's the fun in that?

In my previous post about the seasonals from GT5 I should have mentioned that I would like to see them in that format PP bonus and prize cars but with a lower payout as what was there was far to high for the effort required. I'd say 1/10th of what they were paying in GT5 at the end could be a good formula.

I know that a couple of months ago I started a new profile on GT5 and played for a few hours dunning seasonals only and managed to hit level 32 and won a couple of very pricey cars, bought a few good cars and still had millions of credits left over.

I played GT4 and while the credits per lap was lower on most of the races than in GT6 it did have the option to reset the event and get the prize car again, some of those were a cash cow.

I couldn't care less what they do with payouts now.

If you asked me two days ago, I would have voted yes. The economy works fine early/throughout the campaign. It's when you finish the game and there's still hundreds of millions worth of cars to be purchased with no significant way of earning credits.

How hard can it possibly be to get credits in this game? I'm sitting on 170,000 credits right now and I haven't even finished National B yet. I would've had around 400k but I spent most of my hard-earned cash on a V12 Vantage.

GT games have always had poor payouts at the beginning. It's only later in the game that the money really starts to flow in. In fact I think Career Mode in GT6 actually pays higher than that of GT5. I really think the Seasonal Events in GT5 have really spoiled us.

Come back when you finish the game. Think you'll have enough for one of the 20,000,000cr cars? Ok, purchase one, then tell me how long it takes to earn enough credits to purchase the next one.

It will be a lot easier once they activate Bob so you can have him run one of the higher races for you and earn some extra cash 175k in 24 minutes will work well while watching TV or could set it before you leave the house or go to bed to get some extra funds.

As is right now the best payout per time invested is the Nascar race on Motegi SW at 50k+ for 5 laps doesn't take long to run but you would need to do it 400 times to buy a GT40 LM

GT5 gave you a GT40 LM as a prize car

GT4 had lower payouts but cheaper cars and the fact that you could reset and win the same car over and over then sell it made it easy to get credits. There was one special event that was 2 2 lap races may have taken up to 10 minutes to do them both, only paid like 10k but you won a rally car that you could sell for 265k or you could let Bob run the El Capitan endurance race where the prize was a Minolta and could sell that for quite a few credits, I think it was over 1 million but I forget now, the race prize was like 100k so you could let Bob run the race while you watched a movie and have over a million in winnings when you where done with the movie.

I'd be content with Bob running, however at this stage he is awol, the prize money is low and the opportunity to do longer races (enduro or otherwise) to earn serious cash does not exist.

I do agree with some here that yes you can grind and get that 20mil car, however do you really want to do the same race 400 times for one car? or even do it 10 times to buy a decent ish car to modify it?

There appears to be many people who buy a game to finish it, rather than because they enjoy playing it. Racing an event more than once isn't "grinding", it's enjoying the game... If you don't like going around in circles in a car, don't buy a car game. I find it hard to believe that anyone has mastered even one event, let alone the entire game, barely a week out from launch. At the very least this thread is premature, at most it's an affront to the series.

I get the feeling the people most "offended" by the ability to buy credits are the ones most likely to try it.

I enjoy running some events over and over, I can see myself running a few of the Bathhurst and Brandshatch events many times not specifically for credits but for the fun of driving those tracks and for tuning the cars and I will be getting thousands upon thousands of credits as a bonus to help me in tuning the cars :)

Of course I would still like to see more prize cars and that system of rewarding with extra credits for using an underpowered car. IMO this makes the game more fun and prompts us to find a car that will present a challenge to win the races with no matter what our skill level.

I don't agree with you at all on this,

IMO GT5 at least made it more interesting for me to complete by giving more prize cars, and slightly better payouts for championships etc, even before being patched.
I played GT5 right the way until this game got released and it is disappointing to see that on a new title so many old gremlins are out to play; running lower pp than the recommended gives no reward, no endurance races, low payouts for championships, low payouts for online races.

Take this into consideration with car maintenance alone, you spend days racing, finally get your GT40 20 mill car, do one long race with it online, and then have to race another 10 races minimum to be able to fix it's chassis...... 👎:yuck:

As has already been proven here on these forums this game can be 99% complete in a matter of days, It took me nearly 1.5 years to get to level 40 A spec 👍, as well as months to complete all the enduro's, spec events etc on GT5.....

This thread is by no way premature, simply a poll where hopefully we can get some traction with PD for future updated content to be priortised :)

Yeah I like that aspect - it's a challenge in itself, trying to see how much you can win in an event as well as pushing yourself.

PD are in a difficult position - people whinge and complain because the AI is too easy, allowing them to win all the time, from the back of the pack, but at the same time, making it difficult will result in people complaining (even more) about how long it takes to make money. I remember in GT1 doing the first couple of races about 10 times to get enough to put an exhaust & sports suspension on my sprinter, and then having to make full use of it because the next upgrade would be another 10 races away. It was a challenge, and it was great.

How many walls are you hitting with the GT40?

Chassis refresh was avaliable after a similarly short time in GT5 as well, people weren't bitching about it then though.

As I already stated, getting 100% doesn't mean mastering the game. If you're playing for a trophy, why do you want a longer game? If you're playing because you enjoy the game, what's wrong with the doing the same race again?! And the only reason it takes so long to get all the cars is because there's 1200 of them - they could add a zero on the end of every payout, and people would still be bitching that they had to (shock, horror) do a race more than once!

Considering seasonal events took time to come to GT5, I'd say the thread most definitely *is* premature, there's a precedent this generation for PD adding events as the game goes on so if it truly is such an issue that you feel the need to piss off the devs about it, why not wait and see if seasonal events are added?

I think the payouts for races are fine, but I want the payouts for championship completions to be upped quite a bit though.
