Seeing that PD is now giving away two Stealth-models to Northern Americans, do you think these cars should be made available in all regions as DLC?

It kind of rubs me the wrong way, knowing there are some super stealth models on my disc which i can't access.

I think it's nice of PD to give a special gift to those who are made to wait for DLC, but i feel cheated if these cars are not made available to me at some point.
Just because i live in Europe i shouldn't get them?
 
No. I paid good money to get mine on release, why should people now be able to pay $10 (just an idea off DLC already available) to get something I had to pay triple for?
 
Don't worry too much the gtr gt500 code is not working. Have try it early in the morning and it doesn't work

Because PD is giving them away for free to millions of users purely on the basis of where they live!
 
2 of the 6 and that is because they've delayed the DLC....I'm miffed by even that but it is fair.

I paid enought to get the signature edition with the stealth cars.
 
I really, really hope PD gives every single one of these stealth and Chrome cars to absolutely everyone regardless of game version or region just so I can read all the moaning and complaining posts that special edition owners would make.

It would have been even better if the £20 Platinum version had then by default as well. It would be totally hilarious.

My code worked fine on two units, I understand those who paid to get the cars, the thing PD/sony botched was they didn't make all versions available to all regions, I purchased the collectors edition and would have gladly bought the signature edition if it was available in my region, so I love the idea of getting some of these cars
 
It seems to me that what everyone is saying even though they dont want to admit it is that they should be DLC on the condition the price for them is the same or higher as when they first came out? Dont argue with this because every point made so far on the 'No they shouldn't' side is about money.

Yes, I paid "good money" for mine but I made that choice and it was not contingent on only a few others getting it. There are other Stealth Cars out there that I can't get and for no good reason, hence I don't buy that exclusivity stuff. This is just a game after all. I want access to everything in the game.
 
Considering in the US we could only get one as a pre-order bonus I would gladly pay a couple bucks to get a dlc pack of the stealth cars as well as the chromeline jag which we also did not get.

Of course not, but this is what happens when people place value on exclusivity. They want others to go without. I don't get it myself. Nothing should be rare unless it can't be helped. And in the virtual world, that's almost never the case.
 
I hope so, I love the stealth cars but didn't preorder GT5 because my PS3 didn't have any space. Black Ops did the same thing with the Classic Maps so I don't see why not.

The only sad thing is people buying a special edition version of a game for extra cars. :dunce: If you buy it because it's collectable or rare then fair enough, but for 6-12 cars? For £100+? That's silly.
 
i t doesent bother me. Most DLC in games is available after a certain time to the public

I'm a signature edition owner and only got the **** 5 chromelines, preferably I would have brought the limited edition if it wasn't sold out in Australia when I pre ordered the game. So yes stealth and the other chromelines should become DLC at least for around $25 Australian would be fine to pay, to get them. Also the gamestop camry nascar as it's only for the US so why not. the limited was $250 here mine was $150 so $100 was worth more as the cars are nothing compared to the addition stuff you got with the special edition. END RANT
 
You wont get all stealth cars.
The Timed exclusive Pre order content has allready been released as they NEVER were exclusive to the sig or collectors editions.
In other areas like EU, the Pre order deals have not yet expired. The codes are still valid unlike US pre order codes that are out of date.

The two stealths I think is some what fair but it still doesn't make up for the delay. It would be better if the tracks were free.

^i agree^ just because you paid money for something a year ago doesn't make it valuable now... i think that they should be available to everyone just to knock everyone off their pedestals:sly::)👍
 
I love the whining from the stealth orders. You aren't a war hero, you preordered a game. You didn't "earn" squat. It's been a year, no sense in keeping a half dozen cars secret.

You guys in other parts of the world paid around $100 for sig ed correct? This I heard last night from 2 gamers online so I will assume that it is true, can anyone here confirm?

Yes we paid $295aud (for those interested that's, errrm, $300USD) for ours so whilst you all raise some good points the facts for us in aus are: that we paid out our arses to get the sig-ed & the cars in it should stay as they are: rare & awesome - not common as fark and available to every Tom, Dick & Harry!.
