Probably see something mid-March, patience is a virtue.
1989- '90 Daytona V6 in avatar McZachen? I had a 1989 Shelby
Oh yes, I know to be patient. I mean, we are Gran Turismo fans after all, we
have to be patient.
And yes! It is!
Okay, here's when I get all braggy about my car.

It's a 1990 ES with 70,000 original miles. Not long before I had a low speed run-in with a deer in the fall, I upgraded the whole ignition system with excellent E3 plugs, 9mm wires, and a new distributor cap and rotor. I also Dremel'd down the plenum, put a 52mm throttle body on, and made a ram-air kit. I have a DynoMax cat-back 2.5" system waiting to be put on.
I haven't driven it since I hit the deer, and am waiting to get the dent out of the hood. It's riddled with stone chips, bug guts ate away the clearcoat on the rubbery-plastic nose, and the clearcoat is fading on the spoiler and roof a bit, but the body man is going to repaint those parts when he has the time to work on it.
Even though we really haven't had much of a winter in PA, I still wouldn't want to drive my Daytona this time of year anyway. Summer tires, a bit stiffer springs than an average car, and no ABS. No thank you.
I'm proud to own a Daytona, even if it wasn't a Shelby such as yours. You just don't ever see them around, period.
So, you
had a Shelby?
