You ever play a racing game and suddenly get a little creative inspiration?

I have also been having a ton of fun now that the EVO 9 is here. My first build is a rep of the Gears and Gasoline EVO that Ben from the channel built that competes in Gridlife track battle events. 440hp, stg2 weight drop, lots of suspension tweaking and a ton of other stuff made this thing an absolute weapon. I really only built it for the fun of making it a replica, but it ended up being one of the most fun cars I've driven in the game full stop!

It took a little over 2 hours to make the livery, and it has about 150 layers in it at the moment, but for me it is so satisfying to be able to so closely replicate real life cars in game. Sometimes the stars align and allow it to be almost perfect.

And here is it beating up on a bunch of super cars at the 'Ring.

Well done on Ben Lin's! You should send him a pic. lol

I sent him some pics on IG and let him know the livery is available for download... but I don't even know if he plays GT or makes time for games at all! Both the Bens seem pretty busy.

I always try to send the owner pics of their car if I can find them. Most people honestly really don't care, but their reaction isn't really the reason I build replicas.

I like making a lot of replica liveries for my cars, but I'm often fairly lazy. Why go to all the effort of recreating the Martini livery stripes on a Lancia Delta when someone has already made a much more accurate template set of decals that you can apply in seconds? Trouble is, some liveries aren't well-known enough for this, such as the TWR XJ220C from Le Mans. The chequered flag on the front and sides has no template, so I recreated it using nothing more than the preset shapes. It took about 3 hours, and was not fun!

Trying to recreate the 1995 C Class DTM race car using the 190E was a lot easier by comparison...

Here you go. I do apologize if I wasn't able to share it until now because I was busy doing other stuff.

With that said I'm going to start doing some American car builds collection next starting with these first 5 builds. I'll be covering first the classic muscle cars then with the modern American cars and some other American cars that I wasn't able to cover in those two categories.

USDM build #1
'69 Camaro 302. This got muscled up even more with a Procharger, Gibson headers and exhaust and a nitrous system. To top it off we gave it wide fenders and there you got a complete muscle car.

USDM build #2
'63 C2 Corvette. We asked for Roadster Shop to help us in tuning this Vette up and they delivered. We added a Magnuson supercharger along with an Raylar camshaft and other parts to push this Vette into the 800s. Then for the suspension we installed a Multimatic custom suspension and a set of Brembo carbon brakes. To finish this build for the visuals we gave it a custom kit, 19 inch OZ Raffaellos, a set of BF Goodrich race tires, and a coat of candy metallic red.

USDM build #4
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. We gave this one a engine swap featuring the engine from a Dodge Charger Hellcat. With the Edelbrock Pro-Tuner supercharger, JEGS side exhausts, and a Mopar package this car can go into the 800s. We then kept it simple with the Hemi Orange paint along with a simple custom livery, and a set of 17 inch American Racing VN500s.

USDM build #5
1970 Dodge Super Bee. This Super Bee goes buzzing with some Borla headers and exhaust, Quarter Master clutch, and a OS Giken differential. Then we hidden the headlights with a custom grille then added a set of custom Brembo brakes and gave it a coat of custom purple paint. The rims featured on this muscle car are 17 inch Enkei WPS Kent Royals. Overall this Super Bee is ready to do some stingin.

It's been a while but time to resume where I left from here.

USDM build #6
'71 Ford Mustang Mach 1. We kept it simple on this one for the exterior. We gave a aluminum metallic silver finish for the color along with some side stripes then added a custom grille, lowered the car, and added a set of 16 inch VN500s. The performance on this car is where it gets interesting as we swapped out the engine with a Ford Coyote 5.0 engine then added a Roush supercharger, Penske racing shocks, Magnaflow side exhausts, and BF Goodrich race tires.

USDM build #7
Old Spice came to us and asked to tune up this '69 Ford Mustang Boss 429 and we accepted the offer. We managed to get this Mustang to reach 574 horses with the Edelbrock Stage 1 supercharger, Champion race spec spark plugs, and a K&N air filter and intake kit plus the car gets equipped with a set of Mickey Thompson race tires. We then painted the car with the Old Spice red and gave the car a set of 16 inch American Racing Vintage Torq Thrusts. This Mustang is ready to promote the brand for a certain Need For Speed game.

USDM build #8
1970 Plymouth Superbird. We didn't do much with the car for the visuals other than adding a set of 19 inch Volk Racing GTSes and adding custom wide fenders plus a coat of small flakes blue paint. The performance side includes a custom Quarter Master clutch, Moton suspension kit, OS Giken limited slip, and a custom Borla side exhaust upgrade. This bird's ready to beep beep into the highways.

USDM build #9
'78 Firebird Trans Am. This car is about as simple as it can get with the tuning we did to this muscle car. Custom fenders, custom Brembo brakes, 18 inch OZ Raffaellos, and other custom performance parts we installed on this Firebird. Then we finish it off with a coat of dark green paint along with some stripes on the sides.

USDM build #10
Pontiac GTO aka the Judge. The customer asked for his Judge to be turned into a dirt spec muscle car and we accepted his request. First we added a custom front bumper then dechromed some parts of the car. After that we raised the ride height of this GTO to make it worthy for dirt racing plus a set of BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. The car then gets installed with a Edelbrock supercharger, Autolite spark plugs, and Walker exhaust pipes. To top it off, we gave it a custom livery that's fitting for dirt racing and now you got yourself a muscle car ready to get dirty.
