My gf wants one of those sooo bad. I told her if we move to Florida I will buy her one and I mean it. :sly: Congrats on the purchase. Those cars are awesome on road tracks.

Helps it blend in with all the Camrys and such on the highway. Gotta be stealth to hide from the fuzz!

Very nice!!

I had a decidedly less expensive purchase, but still expensive for me:

New MacBook to replace my slowly-dying first-gen MacBook.

Nice car J-PaP, congrats.

Good choice Sage, that's the model I got for Christmas 👍 I don't think I could ever face a regular laptop trackpad again.

Awesome awesome awesome CD! Highly recommended to anyone who likes electronica.

Not a bad car for a 25 year-old, lucky bum. 👍

Do you ever come down to the Mornington Peninsula J-Pap?

Yeah I figured I would get a colour that blends in with our local taxi's. Though the fact every Taxi now looks like a SUV in my mirror still makes it stand out.

Thanks GT Pro. Been working towards the Elise for a number of years now. Been wanting one for a good 8 years now.

I do go down to safety beach every year. It is usually around just before/after Christmas time.

Ohhhh nice, good purchase mate.

That looks very good, an idea for a first car actually. How much did you pay for that?

EDIT: Just looked some up on Carsales, you can find quite good hatches from 5 to 7 grand.

Curious how that works. Is it better than Never-Dull?

Or is that to actually polish the metal with a buffer like a polishing compound?
I have not tried Never-Dull, but it works with a soft cloth. However, I need something a bit stronger to get some more "burn" marks out of the finish.
Bit of a big spend today....

Congrats! I'm positive you'll end up like my buddy & grin from ear-to-ear when talking about it. :D

Yamaha TSX120

Discovered I need something that actually plays music/noise at me in order to get me to wake up, so bought this abomination of a Sony which, despite good reviews, sounded like the Fisher Price cassette player I had when I was 3. I think it's the first Sony product I've ever bought that I've wanted to throw from a window. Anyway, one trip to Richer Sounds later and I'm much happier.

After a weird encounter with the law (kind of) a few months back, I dropped one of my H4 headlights conversions while it was out of the car, shattering it. I bought another set off ebay, only to find they are not DOT approved. Sent them back, got my refund, and looked until I found DOT units once again to replace my broken set.

Soon, my headlights will once again look like:

And not the faded, yellow crappy pos they are now. Man, what a difference.

Well, I didn't really buy, or purchase it. But there was a massive game update.
CrossFire_fps_game_cover.jpg

Crossfire now has Zombie mode, and some new guns.
Vid.

It. Is. Awesome.
