I find there is no difference bewteen VGA and HDMI on my external and both HDMI ports are being used. Easy choice really.

Look, thanks and all and I am sure you have the best intentions, but what a silly suggestion to make after I have already bought a VGA adapter and neither a retina macbook nor my external monitor has a DVI port - don't you think? Perhaps I would already be using a DVI over a VGA if there was one on the back of my screen?

I bought a VGA. I am sure you can deal with it.

A few weeks ago I found an ad on CL for the 5th (I think?) gen Pokemon games. Which I would love a set of. So I talked to the guy and after almost a month I meet up with him. I looked at the games and they were fishy, but I accepted them anyway, and gave him my stuff (it was a trade).

Then I went to the game store because I'd gotten 2 sets and they looked at it and said "Fake, Fake, Fake, Fake, Fake." And they said a scammer out of a certain town (same one listed in his ad) had been making victims out of many people who'd come in to trade his bootleg crap.

Anyway, I made an intimidating call and this moron was all, "They're fake? I just bought them on eBay!" but it looks like he's 100% in the know.

When I got my stuff back I returned to the store to tell them and there was another victim there, who'd met this bozo AT HIS HOUSE. So we traded numbers and I called the police of the town which referred me to my town's police which referred me to the FBI. So I'm calling them t'morrow.

So, if you try to scam people, don't invite them to your house and don't hand out your number. Unlike this moron.

Macbook arrived!

I am not used to this level of speed and usability. I have taken it out of the box, set it up, payed for antivirus, waited an hour for them to get back to me (because for some reason there is a back order on a downloadable product) and played around with things while waiting, downloaded said antivirus, downloaded various other programs and updated several others including 2 restarts, played around with the trackpad, had spotify running, blah blah blah, and I haven't even taken the power adapter out of its (wonderful) packaging yet! Coming from someone who was using an 18.4" laptop with a 6 cell battery who would get 1:45 worth of charge if I was being frugal, this is just insane. AND it still has 20% left. I was happy with my old laptop but I had my doubts about it as soon as I got it. With this it seems the price is the biggest hurdle, which has already been. Looking forward to some smooth sailing from now on.

is that what the cover really looks like? if so it looks better than the insane edition. mine has vaas sitting on the sand with a guys head poking out of the sand next to him. and it looks all grainy too.

The cover on the standard game, Lost Expeditions and the Insane Edition are virtually the same. The one I have is the Lost Expeditions + Predator Pack, which was only available at GAME in the UK as far as I can tell, along with that unique cover design.

It was actually the only version they had at the store I went to, but it was only £5 more than the standard copy.

My 3 toys have finally arrived!
I'm going to sort of "cheat" on two of them. My grandma doesn't really know what to get me, and sort of got tired only getting money for my birthday and Christmas, so I started buying the gifts for myself, something I really want and like. So I'm saving my Purrloin stuff toy for Christmas, and my Liepard toy for my birthday, which is on the 13th of this month.

I'm keeping for myself is my Buizel.
