After a recent study finally confirmed the benefits of a forefoot landing while running, i've decided to step up my barefoot running game.

I have been running in very minimalist sandals for a while, but have just ordered these;

Kevlar-soled socks. I don't have the time or patience to condition my feet to run fully barefoot, so these should be perfect. According to the website they are not intended for use on hard surfaces, so it will be interesting to see how long they stand up to being used to run on tarmac.
 
Yup. There are at least four distilleries, five breweries and a ton of wineries around you.

Most of them do some pretty darn good stuff too.
 
Picked this up for 1 cent to replace my Galaxy S. Didn't really want to pay for an S3 and didn't love the size of it to begin with so this is perfect. Very nice phone so far.

Finally bought a LCD TV, gonna retire my tube TV at last. Wasn't really planning on it but I thought it was a good price (for our standards), and it will come in handy now that Steam released the big picture mode:

Not a map. I bought a city wide travel card for bus, train, monorail etc. It's just for convenience really; save me having to rush around in the mornings looking for small change for fair.

Not exactly my purchase but we bought a 1999 Mitsubishi Space Star. Faulty mirror controls, faulty power windows, faulty lcd screen, 1.3, extremely weird clutch. But meh, it drives.
