It looks like a nice dress. The thing about that type of dress is that sometimes it's not favourable for the woman's body shape.
 
I'm not made of money. With the help of insurance and a fair of sorts, I managed to not have to pay for those.

Frames, I mean. The lenses racked up $800, or so I'm told.

They actually aren't that much I'm on my second pair. Mines came to just under £700
 
I might be late. But I got this copy at a reasonable price from the UK. And I bought the uncut PEGI version (not German USK) because it`s indexed in Germany. :irked:

EDIT: PEGI version is indexed not the USK version.

Trust me normally I wouldn't either but this Fame stuff actually smells quite nice.

Although as you can maybe tell by the shirt neither my girlfriend nor I can say the same about the sound of her music. ;)

I don't risk buying clothes to the missus, besides t-shirts. We've been together for almost seven years and I still can't figure out her taste in dresses and shoes. I find it easier to just take her with me so she can choose, though that's usually more expensive. :lol:
 
Don't worry, if she doesn't like it she'll probably be able to exchange it for something else.

Uh, American dollars? Wow, I get all the bells and whistles for my lenses, and it comes to half of that before insurance. I might pay $200-300 for everything after the vision insurance kicks in.

I think the main question about the dress is how do you think she will look wearing it. Honey does this dress make me look fat? At least you are willing to try buying a dress most men will steer very clear of this. As for how it looks it's hard to tell not being on a body, I'm betting she'll like it. Just hope she stays off GTPlanet till after Christmas:nervous:. Show her this thread afterwards:idea:.

Yeah, the lenses are a few hundred dollars but they are usually covered by insurance once a year or every other year or whatever. Usually any out of pocket cost I've had to pay for lenses has been for the special coatings or whatever that they try to upsell you on. Insurance usually seems to only cover a portion of the price of the frames, especially if you go for some designer brand, but even then $800 would be kinda crazy.
 
Nope, in this case, the frames were completely written off, but insurance doesn't cover (for some unthinkable reason) the lenses. That 800 might also be including the eye exam, but nonetheless I got the expensive lenses and antiglare coating. I'm pretty sure though that the exam is covered by insurance as well, so I have no clue what happened there. Perhaps it was two pairs, because my mom got hers as well.
