Niiice. Is the 5D a backup body now, you've not really had it that long.

The 1D is a better sports photography camera with the slightly cropped sensor and blindingly quick frame rate, so it will be the primary for track days but the 5D will probably be my primary for other events and photo shoots as it has the bigger sensor & higher megapixel count.

LG EnV3.

Good phone, sound quality's nice, my mom got it with a 4 gig memory stick, bluetooth headset, and an outer case for it. It can surf the web, but doesn't like posting on GTPlanet, it's great for Facebook, and Youtube is good. I really wish I could play my music on something other than the very loud (but nice quality) speakers. Like through the headset.

I was originally planning on getting a Droid Eris, but it was a total of $40 too much for my mom. So I own an EnV3.

K&N Oil Filter

Probably due for the air filter change anyway, but I've wanted one since its the only safe intake upgrade I can do without getting a tuner. And I need to change my oil when life/the weather permits. Yes, I have the oil already.

Is Lego Rock Band worth getting? Can you import the songs into normal Rock Band and vice versa?

Is Lego Rock Band worth getting? Can you import the songs into normal Rock Band and vice versa?
Short answer: Yes (this is subjective though) and Yes.

Long answer:
There is a code included on a piece of paper inside the box that allows you to export all songs for $10 (I believe). It looks just like the Digital Copy codes for movies. It can also read all your current DLC and Rock Band exported songs, but it only makes "family-friendly" songs available. These can also be used in the career mode for the Make Your Own Setlists, so you aren't limited to just the disc-based songs.

Career mode is a bit weird as it has a layout like Rock Band 2, but then you have these rock challenges that play like a boss fight. So far I have only played one, and that was having to use the "power of rock" to destroy a building while playing "Tick Tick Boom" by The Hives. As I played through the song the background footage showed sections of the building getting blown out and knocking out support columns.

My main intent in buying this was the song list, but I am finding the gameplay very fun, and I realize that with a daughter on the way a family-friendly version prevents me from ever having to say, "No, you can't play that song." It is also good for new players because it has a Very Easy mode and you do not completely fail. After you fail you get a set of notes to play to revive yourself. It is definitely worth having to show to new players or people who might be easily offended by certain song content.

I do suggest checking the soundtrack first though, as there is more of a focus on happy-fun kinds of songs than traditional genres of rock. Things like "Crocodile Rock and "Walkin' on Sunshine" aren't exactly what some people are looking for. But the KoRn version of "Word Up" is an awesome addition.

Side note: The first KoRn song in a Rock Band game is in the family friendly game

Thanks for the review, I'm getting it solely based on the fact that it has Walking on Sunshine. That song sucks so much and I can't sing it very well, but I love it. It's one of those deeply embarrassing ones. Plus I love Legos.

Damnit, did admitting I love Legos and Walking on Sunshine just peg me as a complete loser?

I also bought Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers on XBLA, so I think I am hanging on to that title.

Pfft, I have the too. Hell I still play Magic (the actual card game) with my buddies. And I'm also the guy who still plays D&D.

I didn't even realize it was there until I saw the sale this week and tried the trial version. I hadn't played Magic since college, but still have my cards.

I didn't expect a virtual card game to be that in-depth (especially for $5). I just wish it started out with the equivalent of the old starter decks and had you earn packs of cards in the campaign mode to build your own 100% custom deck, but what it does allow is still pretty good.

I never got into D&D because my mom thought it was the spawn of Satan.

Nowhere near as good as the Porta Pro, and overall a little dissapointed with it. But it was the cheapest one, all the others were rediculously expensive. Yes, BOSE, I'm looking at you. My friend has a top-of-the line BOSE headphone, I tried it but I didn't think it could beat my Porta Pro. The only thing I missed on the Porta Pro was noise canceling, but god did it make up for that with it's sheer sound quality.

Boughr for 50% of the original price since it was used on a demo display. I like it, there's a lot of combos you can pull off but my playing style is not quited for it. Will give me new space to learn some new stuff though.

Fantastic device. Incredibly cheap and it gets my guitar perfectly in-tune. I love it 👍

One of their best CD's.👍

I just bought 100blank CD's and a 72 disc case that was on sale. Now I'm off to back up my computer so I can transfer all my music and pictures when I get my laptop.

(Not all 100 discs are for the backup obviously)

Simply because I firstly needed a new guitar strap and secondly because I'm such a Muse fan boy I decided to buy one with the manufacture of Bellamy's guitar on. :p Plus it's leather too, which should be better than my current weird fabric one.

Bram, how does that tuner thing work? I tend to tune mine up (or down ) using the Boss ME50 seeming I'm always plugged into it, but that thing looks intriguing...

It's brilliant. Basically you just open the grip and place it onto your headstock. You turn it on, calibrate it to 440Hz and play any string on the guitar. The tuner will automatically sense which string it is and it will show you if you need to tune it up or down. It basically tunes your guitar from sensing the vibrations your string send through the neck to the tuner. If you want to play in drop D, just tune your E string down to something lower than you open E string note, and it will automatically say you are playing a D#, and that you need to go down half a step to have the correct drop D tune. When you're on the money, the LED screen turns green. Nifty little thing 👍

Sounds very clever. 👍 Not sure I need something like that for my guitar though seeming I've got the Me-50 and the Korg tuner...somewhere...What kind of stuff do you play on your guitar? Guessing Pink Floyd'y stuff?

Two four day super tickets for the 2010 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona!!:D!!! And the Continental Tire Series, Fresh From Florida 200!!?!

My first endurance race ever, I'm really excited for it.

As much as I don't care for the street car version, I'm excited to see the new Camaro GT-R race cars in both races.

Also Team Polizei will be there, in the #63 TRG Porsche, I'd like to find Alex Roy and get him to sign my "The Driver" book.

I'm hoping I'll get to meet Juan Pablo during the driver meet and greet, Sebass as well, there are a bunch of great drivers I'd like to meet. Overall, it's going to be a long and exciting weekend, I'm going to take a lot of pictures, hopefully they turn out alright. :)
