Bought the Biomega manga today, volumes 1 through 3.

I had to buy it today since I like reading Gore type manga. This happens when you visit a bookstore just for one day. I recommend that if you plan on buying manga, buy it online if the shipping is free. So you will get it a little cheaper and take less of a beating in the wallet.

Thanks for the info. I don't get out to many other rinks, well, ever. I've been to the Blade Runners in Harmarville once when my local rink was closed. I go for the open ice times, 3 hours to dink around for $7. I've seen places charge more than that for an hour. It helps having a cousin who plays goal, there's always someone to shoot at. There's usually enough people to get 4 on 4 going with a couple subs.

I play at Harmarville every now and then. I'm actually coaching a middle school team right now and we are practicing there. They have decent stick time hours, as Neville's are too early for me, so I occasionally go out there on afternoons for pickup, send me a PM next time you're going to pick-up there and maybe I'll show up.

Where's your local rink?

I should change my name to FatKicks.
do Malaysian oreos taste the same? I heard ketchup tastes different in some places outside of America. I've never used ketchup when eating outside of the U.S, so I can't confirm.

Mexican Oreos taste the same. Confirmed.

Also Coke tastes different here compared to the U.S., and all the European Cokes Ive tried taste pretty much the same as in Mexico.

Edit: With the impending release of GT5 I bought this.

"Mexican" Coke uses real sugar where-as "US" Coke uses High Fructose Corn Syrup. You can buy it here at a few stores.

But then why something like Sprite tastes pretty much the same, wouldn't they use the same sweetener?

Also to not go too off-topic I also bought this recently.

I believe Sprite has sugar regardless of location as the HFCS obviously messes with flavoring and texture(aka fizziness)

On-topic: I bought F1 2010 off Amazon

Not sure about that. I've had all the and the Euro one is just so much better than the others. Keep in mind the last time I had a euro coke was 12 years ago.

staying on topic

And no, I didn't realize hadouken was misspelled til about 10 seconds ago.

I ordered a Playseat Evolution last night. My current cockpit has done the job pretty well, but it's time for me to upgrade to something a bit more comfortable and with a better view of the screen. I also picked up F1 2010 a few hours ago.

Center Ice in Delmont, it's North of Greensburg, kinda dead East from Pgh. Sticktime runs 12-3 weekdays, and I think they have 2 on weekends. I usually don't start going until October when colleges have all started classes again, there's less people. Sometimes it gets so crowded you stand around for 10 minutes waiting for a loose puck to grab.

Just got the email from fanatec that my GT3RS wheel has been shipped and I can expect it within a week's worth of time. That means I better get busy with my wheelstand design and build one quickly! I should check the prices for wood now. I just can't wait!

That playseat thing is pretty cool. iRacing, Playseat and Logitech had a semi-combined booth at PAX, and I got the chance to play iRacing in that seat with the G27 hooked up, and it was fantastically fun. My biggest problem is that the 3 pedals on the G27 are relatively close to each other, and that freaking pole in the middle (the one that holds the steering wheel mount) was right in the way of the brake pedal. After 10 minutes of playing in an awkward and uncomfortable position, I could barely walk since my left leg had cramped up. I don't know, hopefully you had/will have a better experience than me.

You can mount the pedals in 2 positions.

position 1, mounted to the right, suits right foot throttle and brake, left foot clutch

position 2, mounted more centrally, suits right foot throttle, left foot brake. No clutch use.

Sounds like you were trying to left foot brake when the pedals were setup for clutch use.

Just purchased a new laptop for DJing. I have been looking around for months trying to find something suitable. Finally decided on a Dell Studio 1558 as the Dells that we use at work are so reliable. Obviously I'll be discarding the usual Dell software that is installed and having a very minimal setup.

Specs are:

Intel Core i5-430M 2.26Ghz
4GB DDR RAM
500gb Hard Drive
LED HD 15.6" screen
512MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 4570 Graphic Card
Battery 56 WHr, 6-cell
Integrated Dual-Band

Total price was £549.99 which includes 3 year on site repair warranty. This was an outlet system from Dell which means it was returned but they are as new. Will post the pics once it arrives.

Looks like a decent piece of kit, Mark. 👍

And all the Dell machines I've been around (2 at home and 8 at work) have performed flawlessly, also.

I haven't used a high spec system for a long time. The Dell machines at work are around 5 years old and and have worked amazingly well. I can't see them needing to be replaced for another five years at this rate. We added an extra two gig of RAM about a year ago just to keep them going as software demand increased. The build quality is superb in my opinion.

If that is the case, then I stand corrected. I guess you learn something new everyday.

I don't want to post off topic too much, but do you have to pre-order the Collectors edition in Australia or can you just buy it on release day? All I need is a simple yes or no. 👍
