Seriously, why even bother with a used one? Not a flex to spend that money when an Ioniq N and Tesla charge your phone and accelerate past the intersection just as quick.
It's not a car. It's a quadricycle.
See what I mean?It's not a car. It's a quadricycle.
The 2027 AMG GT 4 Door makes the last gen look better... This is just too much.

The 2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door EV Debuts as the Porsche Taycan's New Nemesis
Mercedes-AMG introduces an electric rocketship that bucks the trend of automakers that are retreating from the EV space.www.caranddriver.com
Are you sure that's a Ferrari and not a CX30 leaving the dealership?I think it’s more that a normal Purosangue is not ugly but invisible.

My eyeesssssss, ittt burnzzzzzzzzz.....what that stinging sensation, for god sake Nissan what ya smoking!!! I never liked the JUke or Qashqai at that matter and their drivers in the Uk are complete morons all over.Don't know if they're trying to make it invisible to radar, but the new 3rd gen Nissan Juke certainly isn't invisible to eyes. Unfortunately.

I actually like the Thesis. it has beautiful rearview, and while the front fascia is kinda droopy / goofy, it is actually charming in a retro styling way.Another contender for ugly car.....!!

The Lancia Thesis, - it clearly didnt take a thesis to write the design notes for this jaloppy!!
At least naming it a ghost or spectre makes sense now.Help, Rolls-Royce has lost their marbles!

I think you just gave the explanation yourself: the 911, the AMG GT and especially the SL all pay homage to car designs from the 50s and 60s with clear geometric lines and balanced shapes. How many GOOD, timeless and classic looking new car designs there are? I can't think of many. All manufacturers make these horrible looking cars that won't age very well.
New Mercedes AMG GT looks amazing. Why? Because it could be from 2005... it looks completely timeless. I don't particularly like how Porsche 992 looks, either but the GT3 Touring looks ok without those wings. Current Mercedes SL is not bad looking, either.
You can take any shape of car from any period and they only differ in details. How many GOOD, timeless and classic looking new car designs there are? I can't think of many. All manufacturers make these horrible looking cars that won't age very well.

Basically I think the problem is this. Almost all cars look the same, there's very little personality left.

Yeah and when it comes to interior I don't think all that new and fresh techno-stuff is going to age very well. Like the huge Tesla-style screens on Mercedes S-class. What looks cool today is going to terribly dated in 10 years. Who remembers the early navigation/car computer screens on the early 2000's cars? They're just embarrassing.I think you just gave the explanation yourself: the 911, the AMG GT and especially the SL all pay homage to car designs from the 50s and 60s with clear geometric lines and balanced shapes.
Compare that to newer car designs with their huge grilles, fake vents and exaggerated angular lines (the worst offenders probably being BMW and Hyundai from the top of my head) that will look outdated in less than ten years.
Though crash and pedestrian safety mandates are likely to blame for that as well (and the focus on aerodynamic drag in EVs).
