Personally, i don't know either but i'm gonna throw a few reasons why i THINK they're bumperless.

Weight loss
Aerodynamics
Cooling the engine (probably the right reason)

Either that of they cost a freaking bomb to replace.

Nope "Drift Missiles"= Beaters for practice

Ziptie sponsors...

K i understand th zipties, but dont you think when you bumper is in 8 different pieces its just time to leave it off?

Thought I'd have more simulair pics, but this is the only one lol.

Only if GT5 had (Better) bumper damage/scratches....

Yes but to piece back together a bumper after it has been broken into 10 different pieces i think its time just to leave it off?

I took them shortley after watching this:

the blue car at 1:07, the dude picking up the tail light, and then the blue car again at 2:02 is my mate from australia.. :) those guys were there for a drift matsuri a few months back.. iv got my dollars saved and am going next year..

and yeah, those cars without fronts are called drift missiles, you buy them for like 1000 aud, you drive them hard, you crash them, you drive them more, then you sell them for scrap metal for like 200 bucks and you go home again.. sounds like GREAT FUN!!
