I notice some people(mike le chat no and Droptop_Chick mostly)do fast drifts that don't look showy. When I drift, I normally get as close to 90 degrees as possible, and go at a nice slow pace.
Is this good?
CanadiandrifterDepends on your style...
Speed drifting (what they are doing), is fun but intense, and you have minimal room for error.
Show drifting (what you're doing), is fun, and relaxed (for me, at least). If you make a mistake, you have a little leway before it becomes fatal.
As for what's better, that's up to you..it's sugestive, really.
Captain TripsSpeed drifting is fun for a while but it evokes controlled power sliding too much for my mind. 👍
TRiI'm all about show for sure. I definitely respect the speeders, but I find show more fun to do and watch.
BrykeSpike0086I would rather do speed drifts as a "foundation" of learning to drift, because learning to drift and doing already high angle drifts, I mean come on. Would it be better to work on angle at a time. 👍
Just like baby steps.
But thats just me, I rather be in the group of Drop_Top_Chick in those kinds of drifts because once you do that on tounge, it is rather fun.
Captain TripsFast drifts? Holy shiz, you can't learn drifting by doing that. With fast drifts, one ****up and you're screwed.![]()
