a6: at least now I know the Bluebird was 510 in the US
You are right. My kid brother even had 510 as a project car. How could I forget! :ouch:

Additionally, the early 90's Bluebird was sold in the States as Nissan Altima. :)

Well come to think of it.. Nevermind, I see ALOT of altima's from those years in the hands of kids who have no idea how to drive..

scratch that..

musta been a typo....Cause it was a 93...And no I havn't had the car since november of 01

No..but i'm pretty sure i've still got paperwork lying around...

I know i've still got the court papers for the accord...

I know i've still got the police report for the bimmer shooting..

what else do i know I have...Might still have the 4 runner stuff

I've got the seville and deville sitting outside...

And the lincoln..
I MIGHT have a pic of that....i'll look

You can call bank 1 about the isuzu rodeo I left in shambles in their parking lot...

As for the rest, I might aswell look for some stuff for those aswell..

Edit

actually yeah, i've still got the pics of the bimmer w/ bullet holes and bloody seats...

I'll go to a kodak picture station one of these days and get em put on disk...ok?

Are you still talking about the M3??? I hope not, unless you live in Europe. There were no M3s sold in the states from late '91, with the end of the E30, until '95. That was the first year we got the E36 version.

i'm talking about the magic carpet i'm riding...

Well Whatever TF year it was. it was there!

i'm tellin ya i'll snag whatever pics I have of it...i'll even send you one of my stomache stapled from the exploratory surgery!...It'll be a nice hullabaloo of bimmers...bulletholes and gunshot wounds!

Bit off topic but,

You got shot in your M3? How did that happen?

Was it supposedly an E30 or E36??? Either way, I can tell you it was not a '92 '93 or '94, thats for sure. And, not that I'm trying to call anyone out, but I don't know anyone who doesn't know what year their car is. Especially an M3. Maybe if it was like a '75 Ford pickup, you might not remember what exact year. But, an M3??? Hell, I can tell you right now what year every one of my cars I've ever owned was.

Studies have shown that people get odd numbered numbers confused more than even numbered numbers: ie. 1997 and 1999, Vs. 1998 and 1996. Maybe that's his problem.

too bad the altima didn't come with AWD and a turbo 2.0L

I was going to wait for some Aussie to chime in... but they didn't... the Altima came with a turbo KA and AWD back in 96 or so... 200hp...

Well we never got the Altima so I didnt think about it, but yes we got the Bluebird SSS which was AWD turbo.

You must not have very good bo staff skills.

Lmao! That made my night.

G'night, folks.

edit: Actually...this thread really is retarded. You guys totally missed my point. I mean the only (or the sure-fire way, anyway) way to tell an american popup 240sx with a japanese coupe front end from the actual japanese car is whether the driver side is on the left or right side.

According to this scenario, my point remains valid. End of story.

That was it. Same body. :)

No..because a Sileighty has a silvia front clip on the front.......
A "onevia" has a 180 front clip on the front...
.
All you gotta do is look at body lines..
if they match up..it's not either of the 2 because when you change the front clip's the lines don't match

In germany most sx200 got a 1.8 liter motor as well they ought to be sx180 i guess
those frikkin japanese try "verarsche" with us europeans I guess by selling us underpowerd cars!

sorry if I offended any japanese here actually I like your country espacially the cars - much better than our ones :)

your friend is a nerd and no..
He has a 240SX...

A 240SX will never be anything but a 240sx...

It's not a Silvia, will people STOP calling their 240SX's silvias....
That's not true. If I shoved a 426 Hemi into a Skyline, it would still be a Skyline. A 240SX is a 180SX or S15 Silvia with a 2.4L V6 engine.

A 240SX is a Silvia with a V6.

A Lexus GS430 wass a Toyota Aristo with a V8 until 2005 when it became a unique car (Lexus has spun off from Toyota and is being sold in America, Europe, and Japan with its own models--the GS, IS, and soon the 2007 LS and SC)

An Acura RL is a Honda Legend with an Acura badge.

V6 eh?

I'll leave this alone...

shouldnt it be VG24DE :sly: j/p
No, that was the standard V6. The QK24DE was the super-secret, ultra-rare V6 option. It was a titanium block, titanium head, carbon fiber rods, magnesium pistons.... you know, the works. Only 2.4L and NA, but it made like 435hp. It was a great engine. And yes, it was on the option sheets for order only in Bangladesh, but it could be ordered at any dealer, if you knew the secret password and handshake.

HA HA HA

God ....Making fun of people is so fun..
But it's so much better when it's drawn out between 2-3 people...

Woo!
I almost joined in, but I didn't want a overkill. :scared:
