Hi all,

I am looking to run a 50 lap endurance race using a selection of Touring Cars from within GT6 at Silverstones Grand Prix Circuit. The pp limit will be set at 600pp. I know this is only a basic car regulation rule but the race is just ment to be a fun endurance event rather than anything to serious like an online series etc.

I really miss the endurance events from previous games. That is the main reason for me setting up these races.

Please see below for all other details............

Date - Wednesday 4th March
Room opens - 7:30pm UK time

The Circuit - SILVERSTONE GP

Good car choice and good tune (I think): I like this combination ! ;)

... but I was in the fastest class (680pp). From lap times, I think that the winners of the 600pp and 500pp classes have both done better than I did.

It's a long time I have not played GT6, i felt it !

Glad to have you on board!
should we make a sort of championship of this sounds fun ?

Just a question no need but sounds really fun

And is there a balance of performance because a alfa 155 dtm is much much faster then the other cars around?

Glad to have you on board!
sorry for this but can i change car ?

audi plz

waith i will confirm my car today i have to see which is best to my driving style

Ok no probs.

Regards to a championship, I haven't got the time to test all the cars and make them equal in terms of performance. That's why I only organise spot races as it doesn't matter hugely if one car has an advantage. :)

For this race all cars can be tuned to 600pp

Oh , I really want to take part in the race but I'm busy in that time.
If someone could send or upload the replay, it would be great.

I did a quick 25 laps test to check if a 1 pit stop strategy could work.
... it seems very risky both in terms of last laps pace and fuel management... but it is doable

I think I may be able to pull it off to. Probably not at your pace tho! :)

1'57 seems very fast. I am slower than that (so far ;)).
I started from scratch for the RX-7 tune. It is currently very neutral and easy to drive. My guess is that it is a bit to safe to be efficient... but on the other hand, I feel confortable to do the 50 laps that way.

I haven't done any car selection test for this event so I have no idea how my car compares to the others. I just picked it like that so I cannot say how good 1'57 is... but for sure it is good

Also be careful that there might be a 1.5 sec difference between laps with full fuel tank versus empty. Even without changing tyres, I am a bit faster after 8-9 laps on this track than after exiting the pits (because of the fuel).
